FS: Jasen's Customs - Panzer Fight Stick - Custom Metal Fight Stick Enclosures

Posted up some new Photos of TankStick. Despite there being some layout differences and internal corrections, they still look great and show off some of the finer points of the TankStick

Most unfortunate jmanDMC. Thanks for the PM/Headsup.

Tonight I will post up 4 sticks for sale at DEEP Discounts since they were powder coated the wrong colors and have to be redone. The mix and matches actually came out very nicely and have nothing wrong with them. Stay tuned to Facebook and Twitter so you can get your hands on one. The best part is… they ship right away!

straying away from all black this time hehhe will post when done!!! btw how much for a stick that will fit crown buttons and m fanta?

All,

Updates: Previously ordered Panzer’s will be shipping early next week. The reworked parts are in route to me for final inspection. After the last mix up I applied some of my Nuclear Officer training to the problem and inserted safeguards in the shop to ensure that mix ups don’t happen in the future.

  • Each Stick is quality checked and certified by signature by a QA person on the shop floor. They do not do any production work only inspection work. It also creates accountability within the shop.
  • Each Stick is built individually vice in a group with others. Something other than “The Panzer” being built between pressings and powder coating so that mix and matches don’t occur (this is the culprit from the last batch).

My commitment to you is to ensure a quality product with as much customization as I can. These additional steps will allow this as well as allow for no mistakes.

This goes to all Jasen’s possible customers!!!

I give you… DaS PaNZeR No. n9ne

This is a Panzer case from Jasen’s customs (made exactly how I wanted).

It’s sporting a

PS360+

Sanwa Buttons

JLF (with short shaft from Kowal)

Shaft coverless black dust washer from Art

and new diamond ball top.

At first I was going to make EVERYTHING black…again…but this time I left suddle hints of chrome (screws, jlf shaft, neutrik, feet)

I love it!!! I was going to do the whole silent this, and optical that, but I have played with almost everything out there, and nothing really made me better, except practice, so I kept it pretty close to stock.

And finally, I would totally suggest anything Jasen makes. He goes above and beyond to make you happy, and this thing feels very solid. It’s a lot smaller, heavier, denser, and compact than I thought it would be.

It beats out any other case I Have had (even the VS and Tek case, even though those are awesome!!!)

Thanks Jasen!!!

Der Panzer? Sorry, little pet peeve of mine when it comes to Deutsch articles…

The case looks very nice though; it’s very sleek and simple. Looks a little funny with the feet sticking out a bit, but that’s probably just me. When you said that it’s the best case in comparison the the VS, could you elaborate on that statement? I’ve been really curious to picking one up and making it my travel stick, but I’m still sleeping on the decision right now…

Also how simple was the assembly?

Pnoy, I found it to be a very easy assembly. The stick comes apart with 8 screws and the fit of the top and bottom pieces is very precise. It would take a hell of an impact to dent one of these. I agree with sethian0 that this is one of the best cases on the market and that Jasen is a stand up guy. I will be ordering a 6 button version ASAP.

I put it on par with the etokki omni, which appears to be the inspiration behind the plastic body MadCatz VS. I would give the omni advantages in comfort because of the curved edges where your palms rest, JLF height and customization due to the plexi. I would give the Tankstick/Panzer advantages in strength as the steel is obviously thicker and less hollow sounding. I’ve opened the Panzer plenty of times with no issues on the 8 screws. Ive had 2 of the screws on my Omni strip. The omni’s still my #1, but she doesn’t travel. Paired with a link, the Panzer is an awesome travel stick.

its compact, very heavy, and well built. the only thing i would do is put some noise foam inside to dampen the metal sounds when the buttons are pressed. the feet dont stick out like that. i just set the case on the feet because i needed new screws to put those on but i wanted to show what they looked like with the stick. hope this helps!!!

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I am extremely happy with the reviews so far!

The feet that Sethian is using are not the stock feet that come on the case. Those are aftermarket, the included ones do not stick out. Unsure if these larger feet do or not after installation. but they do look lower profile than mine

For the sound dampening, Seth is right. Using a piece of craft foam from the local craft shop works great. They are like $.25 -$.50. I may get some and stock them as an addon in the future. Just to make it easier.
