FS: Jasen's Customs - Panzer Fight Stick - Custom Metal Fight Stick Enclosures

I am in Herndon, just outside DC. I’m cool with local pickup. Makes it easy!

Awesome, I’m in Rockville, I’d love to hit you up. Let me check your website and see if tee is anything else I need and I’ll let you know.

Sounds good!

whats the shipping cost to sweden of these badboys? i’ve been thinking of making myself a metal case for the lulz, might order one instead if price is OK. i do imagine it’ll be very hefty though.

Dej, Flat Rate Priority is $78. If you send me your address via PM I can explore the costs of non-flat rate and other options.

For those looking at getting a case with a custom printed vinyl wrap (I do these in house), here is the template to use:

https://jasenscustoms.com/templates/TankStick%20Template%20-%20Top%20Only%20-%20Viewlix%20Style%20Layout%20-%20Console%20Only.psd

I have cut one out to verify that it fits perfectly. Once I get my camera recharged I will take a a few snapshots and put it up on the site as an item for sale as well.

A bottom/side wrap is coming soon. I am working on the template now.

Got any pics of the mounting bracket for the JLF? The shaft looks as if it’s the wrong height in that pic.

D3V, I do. I will put a few up tonight. The flat JLF plate mounts flush against the bottom of the case, it may just be an optical illusion due to the wide angle lenses I use.

Hello everyone, I added a lot of pictures to the listing on my site that shows everything in detail. I also wrapped the stick top and bottom in a vinyl wrap to show fitment and give people an idea of how it will look wrapped with custom graphics… which is awesome I think! I didn’t do any graphics on this, it’s just plain white but I think you will get the idea. I hope to get inspired to generate a wrap and print/apply it to this stick.

Saw the pics. The JLF is mounted at the wrong height. Only 23-26mm of the JLF’s shaft should be above the top panel. There needs to be a 10-12 mm game between the top panel and the JLF mounting plate. This is why most sticks with metal top panels (and the arcade panels themselves) use a mounting bracket, though you can also do this using a couple of washers under between the top panel and mounting plate.

Most folks that have bought the stick actually like the height of the stick. So far, haven’t heard of any complaints. If someone wanted to lower the height of the shaft, washers would be a way to do it or they could easily modify a JLF-P1-S plate with a couple of drill spots to accommodate the mounting points inside the case. I never like using only two mounting spots in any sort of build, it doesn’t sit well in my engineers mind.

Wrong? How about non-standard? Your avatar is wrong.

Your case is in production and should ship to me tomorrow. Once I get it and inspect it I will get it out to you! I’ll get some photos to send your way before I repackage in the Flat Rate Box and mail it out.

Thanks Jasen. If I were to add washers to the screws to drop the height of the JLF, would it still fit inside the case without the shaft making contact with the bottom?

It shouldn’t be an issue. The stick is about 1.33858" tall (inside the case). That leaves you about 1/2" to adjust the height with spacers.

First TankStick Wrapped today with a custom graphic I designed. The fitment was great, the application was straight forward, and the results are stunning! I am waiting for the print to fully dry from the wet application method I used before building it out with buttons and everything. The adhesive has to fully cure and the little bit of water that wasn’t squeegeed out needs to evaporate (just like car tint). Tommorow evening… I build it out with all the parts I just got today!

i’m very interested in one of these bad boys. so a 6 button noir layout with 2 side buttons would not be a problem as far as price adjustments go?

Devastator,

Nope, not a problem at all! I would just have the two cutouts on the left face centered. Out of curiosity, why only two? I figured a Start, Select, Home/Dashboard would be important to have.

When you order yours, just put it in the notes section of the order and I will put it all on the build sheet.

If we purchase a vinyl overlay, will it include the art cutouts for putting in the pushbuttons?

Finest, I can do that. I have been meeting to include that in the template. I believe the buttons are 22mm for the art in the middle. I’ve never used a clear button, not my thing, so I think you would just stick it onto the button plunger. Straight forward and all that you really need to make sure is that you apply it right so it is in the correct orientation when you put the button back in!
