Working on the world warriors first, and then I’m going to do the Alpha and then 3s characters first. The IV characters are little wacko for me. lol
I’ve just been working left to right across the rows, skipping around a little though… Makoto and Viper were the hardest for me so far. Ryu or Blanka probably the easiest.

I did both but im a baller. Actually I haven’t done Ryu or Dan yet cause my internet shit the bed pretty bad one night, cost me going from 3000 PP to 2000 PP within 10 minutes. Sorry to anyone who has joined my unplayable room lately.
I’ve just kind of been switching between them all. I have 11 over 1000 now, I think. It’s weird but I’m having the most trouble with Guile. Every time I pick him, I seem to come up against some 10,000 point warrior and get my ass handed to me.
Mak and Adon will probably be the next 2 to reach C for me.
Doing this trophy REQUIRES that you stop caring about your PP… sheesh they are meaningless. I still can’t believe how many people actually care to have massive points. but oh well the world keeps on spinnin.
I love this trophy / achievement. Makes me play other characters than my mains, and to make things fun for others - I’m completely free.
Me too. For background my brother in law got me this game as a “thank you” for MCing his wedding and because he wanted to play me. Considering I had been 10-15 years away from SF, I had a lot to learn so I figured the best way to at least learn enough basics to play against him at all was to pick a character, play them in Ranked until I got them to a C - with the normal 3 rounds, 99 time limit, mind you - and then move on to a new character. Sure, it doesn’t make me an expert by any stretch but given I was so relatively new it made me learn a bunch of fundamentals rather than flipping around mashing DP all the time. Every time I level up someone to C, my wife picks a new character that she thinks looks cool and I learn them, no matter their place on the tier list. 
So far since I got the game back in July I’ve done about 1/3rd of the cast. Probably would’ve done more but I only have time to play for around 4 hrs a week or so! So I’d sooner do it the real way rather than boosting, but that’s just me. I think it’s more fun.
[P.S. Yeah, I don’t get the people who give a crap about PP either, to be frank]
The hardest person I have had to level up is C Viper - I find it super tough to win matches with her online, seems like I get nailed by one or two DPs and I’m pretty much done =)
Before that, maybe Zangief until I figured out some other ways to play him (as I mentioned I couldn’t do his ultra which really hurt me) and weird as it sounds I was having a lot of trouble with Rose (but I was using her U1).
I also, when just starting playing after the 10 yr layoff, had difficulty levelling up Ryu(!!) but I’m betting now it would be quite a bit easier.
Easiest ones for me by far were Bison, Balrog, and Adon, all of whom took me less than a hour in normal 3/99 matches.
My hardest, by far, were Ibuki and Dhalsim. Just kept finding ways to lose with them. Easiest (apart from my mains) were probably Blanka, Bison, and the shotos.

I currently have 20 chars at C rank and doing about 1 more per 2 days. I like the C to shining C for various reasons.
It made me play chars I didn’t know I liked. i.e. M. Bison. (dic)
It made me realize soms chars are easy to win with.
M. Bison (40% win), Dhalsim (50% win) and E. Honda (50% win)
The Bison victories included some ppl with well over 7000BP. Even one with 14000 BP. I must have really pissed off some poor Vega making him lose 114 BP to a scrubby M. Bison with less than 200 BP. ;-p

No kidding on the Vega (Claw) I haven’t won a single round with him yet…
Haven’t done Gen or C. Viper yet. But I bet they’re even harder.
It really teaches you weakness in other chars.
I thought Guile was unstoppable on wakeup. Until I played with him.
It teaches patience and zoning.
My main is Cammy and I play her like a mad rush down char. Dhalsim should be played differently…
This thread has inspired me to do this for myself, I was getting bored of just using one character. This achievement has renewed my enthusiasm for this game.
So far I’ve done Balrog, Dan, Sagat and in the process of using Ken.
Funnily enough I found Sagat the most difficult, and I’m having a bit of trouble with Ken.
When I started doing this I had around 2500pp, and now I’m at 800pp.
i started this trophy like 4 days ago or something…havent played that much but i have already 8 characters over 1000 BP…though i had bison and dee jay before…anyways i really like this trophy (first i hated it i mean come on…35 characters to C rank thats ALOT of time) but yeah it’s fun…im not bad at all with the whole cast i know all of their BnB and stuff so im not having that much trouble winning…i started with 4800 PP and now im down to about 2600 or something but yeah who cares about this shit
i still can’t believe people stand up to plug out the internet cable or something
anyways i’ve done bison, ryu, ken, gen, balrog, dudley, dee jay and blanka so far
i think i will do the alpha characters now
