Sup guys, I moved back to SF a few months ago from SD and haven’t been playing SF4 much. I wish the Bay Area wasn’t so fragmented since it’s a pain to drive to the South Bay or East Bay to play whenever I feel like it. Would like to get back in to SF4 and in to MvC3 so I hope to see you guys around sometime this week or the next.
so my friend tells me that bestbuy’s inventory (the one on geary at least) for mvc3 is snowed in at michigan, so they had a limited number of special eds still getting trained in instead of air. so the 2 copies that had arrived last week that were meant for me and him with our registration numbers on it, sold to people who bought online. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

I just moved back to SF last year after finishing up at Davis and have been looking for some people to play with besides online. Bad news though, my wallet got stolen at a gym about 2 weeks ago and I’m still waiting for my license in the mail. Can I bring my temporary license as some form of id even though it doesn’t have a picture on it? I’d rather not carry around my passport lol.
It should be fine @xelad1, were pretty cool. The only thing is if someone new brings in some random crap like drugs or alcohol. All of us need information, just in case shit really goes down.

continuing the above story (if anyone’s been reading it) turns out bestbuy is getting 6 extra copies of special up for grabs to any customer who preordered… customers, not employees. employees who preordered need to pay extra to have it shipped from the warehouse to them personally.
wtf is the point of preordering then? i drive halfway across the city to pick up a game i preordered weeks in advance just to be turned away. not only did i not get it the first day but i have to pay $10 or so extra to get it a week after i was meant to. talk about rewarding customer loyalty. they just gave me a kick in the balls and a middle finger to top it off. thanks assholes at bestbuy. that shit got my blood a boilin

Yea I’m stoked to get in some marvel tomorrow, my first time playing too. I’ve done a lot of research on the game and I think I know what I want to mess around with and what questions I want to ask. I think I was over thinking things while trying to make a team, so it’ll be nice to actually try some things out.
I think we should set up stations based on skill level 
one or two for people like me who only touched the game once or less since release (damn school)
one for people who play the game from day to day, casually and
one for people who are experts and spend countless hours in the lab, knowing all these combos and infinites and whatnots.
