When I first started going to RnC and no one talked to me ever. After a while I became a familiar face and people started talking to me more and more. It’s just a process, not everyone is open to talking to strangers right away.
Rufio cracks a lot of jokes and junk, don’t take it so seriously. I mean I recall a few weeks ago when he was at the dojo and everyone was laughing their heads off both during his matches and when he was waiting for his matches. I pretty sure he was just looking for a more energetic response rather then just a head nod.
I can certainly relate to this even when I ask for advice about KOFXIII or how to do a combo they just pulled off. It’s sometimes just a blankstare followed by a headnod (acknowledgment that I’m there and said something but no actual reply to my question). Its rather frustrating =/
Anyways, I might leave early around 6-6:30 (Dinner with the g/f -.-’ lawl) so one of the ps3 stations are gonna be stickless. Sorry DKL, Zaku, Ric0, and MaNoel. You guys were getting beastly at AH3

I had tracking confirmation that it was sent out with an ETA for Saturday in the afternoon. I happily awaited it like a 10 year old who still believes in Santa. Now I’m getting an error message as if they cannot locate my package, or that the tracking number doesn’t exist or something. Apparently a lot of people who ordered from Capcom are having a bunch of problems and that we may not even receive it on the 15th when it was supposed to be guaranteed day of release. Dammit.
Also, lol at JWong drama. After getting trolled so much by this game, it’s going to be /slit wrists if the game turns out to be ass.

I don’t think I can make it to the city tomorrow…BUT…in the evening, probably after 7, people are welcome to come over to play some MVC3. Yes, MVC3.

So if you can’t wait till Monday’s midnight release, I’m down to have like 5 people or so over to play some casuals. I would bring my setup to an already established spot like Chrisis’ or DKL’s but I’d prefer not to carry anymore things anywhere…if you knew what I was up to the past two days you’d understand not wanting to pack up the xbox yet again for travel.
I live in OAKLAND. Yes OAKLAND. West Oakland so you don’t need to piss your pants but we have had a car broken into once on this street. There IS parking available sunday night all along the block in front of my house. If its a big concern, carpool. Like I said, its West Oakland, like walking distance to Emeryville and all of the crappy mall shops around there. Its not a good area by any means, but not terrible. If its an issue, just don’t come, I’d hate to feel responsible if something DID happen. It’s just kinda silly to have such a long preamble about a city, but some people have expressed a lot of concern. I have never had a break in personally. One of our housemates has, but not on our block.
So yeah, 5 or so people, we can get jiggy, get some beers if thats your thing (not me but youre welcome to drink), sodas if thats your thing (me!) and some junk food (universal for gamers), play some casuals and then call it a night till the official release the next day at 12.
I have work on Monday but I don’t have to leave till about 2:00 pm, so I’m up for late night sessions as well or however long people want to play, test stuff out etc.
I’m running through mission mode and arcade mode tonight to get familiar with my potential team(s) and unlock the four chars so those interested in playing lei, sent, task, or akuma can do so.

I couldn’t come because I had a huge string of HORRIBLe bad luck while trying to get a copy of this game early or get a burned copy and mod my secondary 360. you guys better kiss my pale asian ass for gettin this early. And since I’m going to be playing it by myself for a while tonight and before tomorrow evening, you guys are free to experiment as much as you can. Too bad I don’t have multiple setups, but thems the breaks.

@Royal and Worf I ordered the plexis and art for you guys. Came out to a total of 116 tax/shipping killed it horribly. I ordered plexi and artwork for a friend as well.
