It’s the building with the Starbucks in it.
I’m going to say that most of us show up around 6-7. I can show up whenever. I’ll be free tomorrow if anyone wants to meet up for games. Just let me know and I’ll get back to you, we can play at my place or I’m willing to travel if you want to play elsewhere then head to duquesne.

Honestly, I don’t think there is a whole lot of interest in reviving the older games. A couple of people might play, but for the most part the focus will be on Super, Blaz Blue, etc
on the topic of the tournaments for $$$. i also think it’s a good idea (no not because i want to take money from you guys). i also dont think of it as a giant money match between friends.
in tournaments, there are no friends. some of us have already had to take eachother out in previous tournaments, and it will only happen again in the future. so i really do think it’s a good idea learning to play under the stress, it will definitely be good for when we’re playing under pressure at a tournament such as seasons beatings.
i’m 100% in for this idea of having tournaments for money… hell, i was even thinking $10 per person. even once a month wouldn’t be bad.
I’m willing to bet most/all of the BlazBlue people (Dice, Butters, Rock, Odell, myself, some new people) would play the older games. Right now the SF4 and BB groups are looking kind of even as of late.
Bring the VGA box and whatever else, I’m down for 3s as long as someone has PS2 sticks. Bring CVS2 too, Jake can (maybe) redeem himself for losing to my lvl 4 Honda against his lvl 4 Sagat last time we played  Yes you did lose that.
Also, PS3 running PS2/PS1 games = automatic 2 frames of lag on top of whatever lag the TV itself has.
I still think everyone should quit for Dark Awake.
Also, from what GK has told me, 360 UMK3 has some timing problems in terms of execution so I’ll be running it on MAME from here on out.
As for the tournaments, you guys go ahead. All Rock Steady was saying it’s sort of one sided in all of your guys’ favor because you guys play multiple times a week compared to everyone playing 2 times a week. Except TJ, he’s just a beast like a rusty Chevelle with a pristine engine. And Nate who’s just good at games he picks up. But yeah, throw in money, do whatever you guys want. Agree on a fee right now and stick to it.
I don’t know if you did this in the guilty gear days to get better or to “stay hungry” but if it works, more power to you.
We have one of the top UMK3 players here in Pittsburgh. (Ghetto Kabal) I’m sure he’d be happy to come school everybody. Do you guys already have the game on 360? I guess it’s not available any more.
I have it on my 360 but my 360 RROD’d. And Ghetto Kabal told me 360 version isn’t great for competitive anyways so just load up MAME, which I have and it runs great. I got it from the MK site or whatever SRK equivalent they have.
Edit: someone’s wife died so I’m working all weekend to cover for them. If you guys cant get in call me and I’ll come get you in.
Jake: Put something about info in 2nd post in the thread title when you get a chance :arazz:
Anyways, yar, I would be up for older games and such not that I’m really good at any of the older ones =__=
But they are fun
Oh and btw, About the student lounge, I didn’t notice that the floor that I entered was the 2nd floor o.o So it was only out of whim that I decided to go to the flight of stairs to go down a floor o.o
I think that you should mention that somewhere in the beginning post unless it’s just me that gets confused o.o
Oh, and I have a random copy of KOF '98 Dream Match for PS2 if someone wants me to bring it ^^
Well I might just bring it anyways just because o.o
No I only meant that as…Instead of winning a ranbat here and there, you have the chance to win all the money from every ranbat at the end. which is favorable to the best of the best players
Hey 060, I want to say your name is Tom (which I could have just made up)… regardless, Me and Aaron will be at Duq. a little after 6. If you need to get a hold of me for directions or anything, feel free to call.
Jimmy, I look forward to meeting you and we should try and play cvs2 if we can get it to work.
