Hey I’ll be going to Pittsburg Univserity August 2011. got a few questions:
What games are played here? Guilty Gear and Street Fighter perhaps?
What is the hub for fighting games? A university or an arcade or what?
What good boxing gyms are around?
There’s only 1 gym I know of and its on the outskirts, by Monroeville. I haven’t been there but I’ve been trying to get there for awhile.
There is one downtown on 3rd street next door to the Subway/Crazy Mocha

That is great news. The three of us that play guilty gear all live near Oakland. Damn near all of us play ssf4 and we are all pretty talented at it. Not to mention that we all play a whole slew of other games. Typically we try to meet up on Friday’s at AIP, it is the art institute in downtown, we may also start meeting up at Duquesne, another college near downtown for games on Wednesday and Fridays.
Real boxing has a ring and all, and smells like sweat, blood, and subway!
ok so, on saturday they are playing Ghostbusters II at the Oaks Theater in Oakmont PA
it starts at Midnight (so those of you going, be there at like 11:30ish PM saturday night)

Breaking news that I’m sure 90% of you don’t give a shit about: AH3 is getting a 360/PS3 release, port being done by Arc Sys.
If it gets a US release, I’ll probably play it due to me not giving a fuck.
The first Arcana Heart seemed good. It was too bad the console port of the second one was so awful. I’m sure arc sys will do a better job.
My current plan for Friday is meet up at Big Mama’s at about 5 for some free grub (someone bring a console so we can hook it up to the TV they have there.) and then head to AIP at about 6-7. We can start RanBats back up next week.

Big Mama’s son Vamar is currently running the place, I’m doing up the new menus, he said he’d hook me up and any body I brought in with food.

RJ, if you are still free tomorrow, Malik says he should be free to hang out, play some super, and throw down in tstone, which I am seriously jonesing for. And I know that you just got the new 360, would you happen to still have the power brick from the old one? I bought Malik’s hacked 360, but my elite power brick doesn’t hook up to it. You should text me if you do have it. I’ll probably end up buying one after work tomorrow at 3. So try and let me know before then if you can.
TJ, I don’t have to work on Friday, I am assuming that you will be getting off of work at 4. If this is the case, you should head to my place and we will meet up with Herb at Big Mama’s for awesome food then awesome games. Also, Malik is way too excited about seeing ghostbusters 2, it will kick some serious ass.

Toy Story 3 is also super good but it makes you cry, well, if you aren’t Nate you will cry. Nate is too manly to cry. Speaking of Nate, you should hang out with us on Friday night.
