I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that I talked to Dave yesterday and confirmed that he is gonna be in town the weekend of the fourth. So I asked him bout coming over to my house on Friday the 3rd and he said that will work out perfectly:wgrin: Usually it is a Saturday, but I gotta go to work on Sunday that weekend.
So it is on and you guys are invited to come on over and get your game on. I told Renee that I would keep it from getting real big though. We got four dogs now and she doesnt the smallest ones getting scared and worked up. They are pretty jumpy. So as long as Ohio doesnt show I should keep my nads:sweat:

Abe - thanks for confirming! The only thing better than you hosting a party again and having Dave attend would be Renee making more of that lovely lasagna, but I know better from experience now… I don’t dare walk in the place and start by asking what she’s cooking. Hehe.
Handsome Dan - perhaps you should ask WKDCLWN if you can come out to this. It’s a good time with lots of good competition and a great way to meet most of our crew all at once.

I love both the samurai shodown series and CvS2(I haven’t played them too much since ST4). Do you have live? If you do we could play on there. My tag is Crono37.
I just booted up JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure for the arcade, and I really like it. It’s certainly Bizarre, but it kept my interest the whole time I played it. Have you guys ever tried it?

EDIT 2: The anime is pretty good also. Covers Arc #3 from the Manga (there are 5 (6?) different “Main Arcs” to JoJo’s so far)

aug. 15 is busy with GenCon in Indianapolis
so either the 22nd or the 29th. I want to finalize this date with Victor at GameWorks by monday at the latest.

Abe: Yup, people can go to the dashboard but it shows that they disconnect now. I’ve avioded plenty of matches this way with potential pullers and have only had about 10 or 12 disconnects.
Also, what was your question about Honda?
Are any of you planning on picking up Blaz Blue or King of Fighters XII? I used to play a bunch of Guilty Gear X2, and have been interested in Blaz Blue. However, since I really only have the money to pick up one, I’m more inclined to pick up whichever other people are planning to play. I haven’t played KOF too seriously ever, and just recently picked up XI on the cheap to give the series a shot. Any input?
Played BlazBlue at the Ohio Tourney (A wonderful surprise), and I must say, that I’m hope to be playing it for quite a bit. I plan on picking BlazBlue up over KoF12 personally.
I may have to give Blaz Blue a shot. I could use another game besides HDR and SFIV. I’ve always gravitated towards what I would consider the “simpler” mechanics of Street Fighter games, but I’m willing to give something else a shot. I may pick up Blaz Blue on Tuesday. I’ve been looking to trade in my copy of Killzone 2 anyhow.

I do take a little time to talk about Gary, Milan, and Dave. Hopefully you guys won’t frown upon this or be mad at things that I say. I just speak what I believe is the truth and my comments can probably be interpreted in a few ways but in my heart and mind I mostly meant them in positive ways. Don’t try reading between the lines… just take everything face up for exactly what it says.
Also that podcast that I mentioned doing awhile ago should be hitting the net in about 2 weeks so I’ll post up when that arrives.
