John Rambo is back from SBO and has posted up a couple more videos about stuff topics in general like USA vs. Japan and ST vs. HDR. even though his topics include SF2 examples i see what he is saying in the big picture and it can be applied to other games and just our group in general. in the first vid he doesn’t get into the SF stuff until like the 3:25 point. anyway the reason i’m linking these is because i find them informational (again looking at the big picture, not just specific SF2 examples) and i could vividly pinpoint some of what he says to our group. just listen to what he is saying and really think about it.

i got a call from the one the only Nasty Note a few days back. he is going to be coming with us for the entire weekend for SB5 :party:
so far we have me the big sexy cheezfizzle, Nasty Nizzle, F Jizzle, Michael Michael Motorcizzle, and Masamizzle Shizzle. that is 5 already plus hopefully we can convince Deadpizzle and Heihachizzle to come as well, making 7. is there anyone else in our group that can possibly drive if it gets to that point? might want to start thinking of these things people.
Martell (Martizzle) - you wouldn’t be interested in coming along to a huge 3 day tourney over in Columbus, OH next month would you? it’ll have players like Daigo and Justin Wong there, amongst others. i dunno if you are familiar with who the top players in the world are but many of them will be traveling from around the world to attend this tourney so i thought we should at least extend an offer for you to come, this type of opportunity for this level of competition doesn’t just come around all the time.

yo Ft. Wayne i just got word from Vic at Tilt downtown and he says that he’ll let me hold a tourney at the arcade on the 12th which is the tuesday before Season’s Beatings
it’s basically gonna be a tune up tourney for all the Indy players, we get to comandere all 3 of the 360 cabs to play SSF4 out, so far i’m thinking $10 to play and %50 goes to the winner and runner up (70/30), with double elim… i’m just dropping the heads up so we can get as many players as possible, i’ll post again after i call Vic tomorrow and finalize everything

Mike- A while back I made a post on here that said if I could even come to SB5 I wouldn’t be able to afford a MM, and to make it up I would MM you sometime in or soon after January (after I got done buying presents and recovering) and that we could raise the stakes to $100 if you liked. You never responded so I stopped training in BlazBlue and focused for just Tekken since you have seemed to lost interest in facing me.
I wasn’t going to shit talk my way back into your sights, as last time I did a ton of shit talking some people got so pissed they wanted me cut off from the rest of the crew (and Milan, and maybe some others, still hate me). It will take me many months of pure BlazBlue dedicated training and catching up to your level of play before I would even think of challenging you again.
Edit: I will have plenty of extra cash with a lot of things changed, but im more prone to be spending half of that at Canes, and risking the other half on a healthy Tekken MM or 2, 3, or whenever I stop winning. My BlazBlue is worlds behind yours ATM.
