I would be interested on coming out to play BBCS and even some SSF4 with you guys. August 7th im going to a party but I don’t have anything planned the following weekend.
Its a shame Tekken 6 won’t be a main tournament at SB:R but I suppose a side tourney is better than no tourney. Besides, im getting a little too absorbed in BBCS a little earlier than I want. I guess ill still come then.
Perhaps we could talk to Putt Putt or maybe Laser X or something? Maybe a sort of rent-a-venue, that we could get for cheap, yet long-term. This is what quite a few places have, i mean, in arcades. And putt putt has an arcade.
The only problem is that how late we like to play, it’s just not feasable for us to play in any sort of place other than one that we have full access to.
Someone posted one of my first matches on BBCS on youtube. Ive already come a long way (considering my poor distancing, dropped combos, and working out Ragnas new stuff) the past 2-3 days but the end of the match was pretty funny.

Sounds like we have a situation here. Don’t lean on me yet, but I might be able to let you guys use my place the 14th. I have all the currently played fighting games, including games you guys probably didn’t know I have (including the 360 versions of MvC2 and HDR). Ill have to talk to my parents about it first but I know it cant be this weekend, so unfortunately you guys will have to find somewhere else for now. Ill keep you guys updated.

I don’t know how hard they will enforce this and I don’t know what the cut-off date is but they are claiming that due to the fact they will probably overflow the place with waaaaaay too many people they say YOU MUST PRE-REG (for free) at the above link or else you will not be allowed into the tournament. Honestly if you know you want to come (or even if you aren’t sure but think there is any possibility you might want to come) there is really no reason not to pre-reg for free anyway. Yet I fear some of the guys in our crew will make this as complicated as possible for no reason and it’s really annoying.
Brent, Since I read your post first, I’ll go ahead and state that I’ve Pre-Reg’d.
Josh, I no offence, but I would want to make sure your house is accomadatable for what might go on, in both size, seating, tv/projector placement, comfort, etc. We already have a place that we can use, it’s just that last week we got to play in a house that was pretty much moved out of, and it was perfect for what we did.
Unfortunately Dunky ‘Get Desperate’ Harwood cannot make it to Bar Battles. On an unrelated note, I like Five Guys. Outsiders will never understand us, you know?..

I may or may not be helping Isaac with his class (I took the same course/one more day of class left for him). Would you guys be doing something tonight perhaps? The later it is the more free I am (as in one or two hours later).

btw just letting everyone know waaaay in advance that is planning to hit SB5 in October, with the way recent developments on the tourney are looking i don’t see any way around getting there Friday unless there are drastic changes. the only question would be exactly how early i need to get there Friday. just a note for anyone who is planning on coming with me (assuming everyone else chicken shits out of driving again as always)
No offence taken.
Room/Size: Entertainment center in my basement. Slightly smaller than Milan’s but its still good.
Seating: A couch, loveseat, and a rocking chair. I can also bring down a couple of seats if needed.
Comfort: It gets a little cold sometimes, but if you guys come I can adjust the temperature.
EDIT: It should also be noted that my father is an excessive smoker, so upstairs will smell god awful, but downstairs (where the gaming center is) is fine.
TV placement: Its an HDTV put on one side of the room. Don’t worry, I dont get any noticable lag from it.
IF people bring a TV or 2 ill have to get a little…creative, but otherwise I could host/seat around 7 people.

Hey Brent, if you’re concerned about ST being on Fri we still aren’t sure – I don’t want to do it that night at all. I def recommend every spending all 3 days at SB:R if you guys can regardless.

Ill also be off SRK for a bit because the last time I had things going on and came here, I single handedly turned this thread into a soap opera. Sorry im taking off so abruptly like this, and hopefully ill be back on here soon.

yeah you are correct. i got totally mixed up on my dates for this event.
