Jeff - sorry you couldnt make it tonight. I am using abe’s iPad for the 1st time now. It has been a fun night as usual and lots of locals made it out for very beneficial practice. We are going to Muncie this Sunday for the Indiana state team qualifiers for powerup2010 and I think fort Wayne has all the spots on lock honestly but we will find out.

You’re lucky I don’t drink or else you’d have been pouring extra shots. Actually Abe lost a shots match later on to Spencer in arcade ST I believe. He is usually more solid than that. 
Hey Mynd, Puff, etc… if your group ends up having to drive 2 separate vehicles to Muncie can you see if Gary and I can squeeze in to get rides down there? My vehicle isn’t trustworthy much driving and I don’t want to rent a vehicle just to do this. I’m trying to find out if Gary can drive but he hasn’t got an answer yet.

After playing so many matches and then doing the team tourney I feel like the gap or difference in skill/winning/losing in our group is all narrowing which is a very nice thing. I was focusing more on a certain “core” of players which was me/Gary/Puff/Mynd/Oren. I was impressed with Greg’s Balrog/Cody and with Colin’s Ibuki too but those 5 folks I named were all real solid and I think the gap is closing overall slowly. I wouldn’t be too surprised if that was the Indiana state team for PU2010.
I can probably get my mom to lend me her car, which has an extra row of seats so you guys would be able to ride with us

And also, also, Good luck to everyone going for the quals tomorrow. I’m sure Fort Wayne’s gonna take a large number of spots, but remember it’s an INDIANA Qual and not a FORT WAYNE qual. So it would be nice if maybe Ghetto dave (well, he’s still fort wayne kinda sorta maybe?) or someone from the Indy crew to qual. Just sayin’. But good luck to everyone.

Brent: I had no idea that you did so well at the MWC!?!?! Excellent job man! Are there any videos of that match? Also, I think both Cody and Guy are excellent choices to consider. They’re both still so “new” that several players may have a difficult time against them. I’ve ran into several excellent players online that just dominated me with that matchup.
Mario: I agree with you on Abel’s second ultra! That ultra is TOO STRONG.
Yea, I’m still trying to figure out how to deal with it. Seems like it’s the only reason Abel is top tier now. It does so much damage too.
When Abel has his second ultra you just cant be caught with your pants down. Continue to apply pressure on wake up or at least make it seem like you are to bait it out of him, once its gone continue to play your game. Oh and don’t drop combos because there are some people who will mash it out when you’re doing one.
Damn my putter does sure suck. In the time it is taking me to type this on the pad my putter is still loading:shake:

what up pimps, it’s been a while. I been a little busy. I’m in a serious relashinship my girl amber had a daughter that I claim as my own, and we have a lil girl together. I’m still gig’en at stuarts. Still into the boxing scene (getting back into it). I still draw a hella better than before been picking up small art projects. My gaming skills dropped a lot. It been a while. I plan on keepin in touch more.

Great play from everyone yesterday. Everyone has improved alot. There were so many close/intense matches througout the night. Since I’ve had the game, almost all of my online matches have been using Dudley so I will be training with Blanka from now on. Brent, I think your Vega will throw people off at the tourney. Alot of players don’t know how to counter a good Vega. Looks like we will have a good variety of characters on our team. I’m definitely going to hit the lab something serious these next 2 weeks.
I’m going to leave the character order up to Gary. Everyone, don’t forget to pm me your character choice by next Saturday so I can get that to Osirun. If you already know for sure, you can pm me now. I’m going to wait to the other teams post theirs. So that way all the teams have the same time to prepare.
