Get ready to see lots of Cody/Guy/Adon this Friday & Saturday. I need to test these guys out hardcore to see if any of them is worth replacing Vega for the PU2010 state team. Granted I think I could just play Vega and be assured of qualifying (and then decide at a later date that I want to possibly switch to one of them) but like I told Mario I am not going to operate that way. I want to know ahead of time how I will fare with a chosen character so I will be sticking to one character throughout the qualifier and if I make top 5 that will be the same character I will play as for the actual team event.
Basically I did some re-evaluating of things on SSF4 from my experiences at MWC and then put in some more practice when I got home and decided that Cody/Guy/Adon are certainly worth looking more into. If I don’t like what I see then Vega is always waiting in the wings.
Ya, Pompous Puff is there also, it was painful to watch mine, I knew what I did wrong as soon as I pressed the button, and now it’s forever documented. Oh well. I know what I need to do with Juri after last weekend and my talk with Dave.
Also, I won’t be able to make it to the Team Quals this weekend, but I wish everyone who’s going the best of luck. I’m looking forward to this weekend though.

Hey everybody - just a reminder that when we get to Abe’s on Friday all shoes must be removed and left in the hallway where you enter (with all the arcade games lined up). No shoes in the living rooms, kitchen, etc. Abe will be pissed if anyone fails to follow this rule. Also remember $1 door fee. He said we can start arriving between 8-9pm.

I got two flat screens of decent size and another smaller 1080 tv that we use for the computer that can be used also. 20summin inch I believe.
Only problem we have is I have not gotten my new furniture yet so there are only gona be a couple lawn chairs and a puter chair in the middle room. Fine if you want to just play on your lap. But I got 2 for sure and a possible 3rd tv for the party. Dont bother to bring another tv as their wont be any room. But we can have mostly ssf4 on both the better tvs.
Though an extra ps3 may be helpful. I dont have SF on ps3, only xboix.

I don’t see why half of the people in A or B for that matter are there. Perhaps it is because the game is so new. Juri feels right, but she shouldn’t be behind Zangeif and T.Hawk. And Half of the people in A don’t belong there imo…although two players that were askled specificlly play Rufus, so I’m not surprised he’s up there.
Anyone who pre-registers during the March 1st - May 24th time frame will be the ONLY PEOPLE entered into the QCF Gaming complete arcade stick raffle. LuckyDay is going to be providing us with a really great looking case, and has also agreed to wire it all up (details on PS3 or 360, or a dual mod, will come later) so you don’t have to finish the stick yourself. The buttons will be Sanwa and the stick will be a Sanwa JLF. Pictures will be coming soon! The raffle for the QCF Gaming arcade stick is scheduled for Sunday, May 30th.
Im kind of biased when it comes to rufus so I cant really talk there. Idk, the list looks pretty legit to me. Kind of dissapointed about Dee Jay though
But than again, this is like a fucking week 1 tier list. The game really hasn’t been out long enough for a “proper” tier-list to be created imo. But as always, take the lists with a huge grain of salt.
I agree with Myndgamez it looks and feels legit for the time being at least. Its a monthly tier list so perhaps things will look drastically different when people adapt to the nerfs/buffs, ultras, and new characters.
I personally think it’s a garbo tier list lol. Some of the obvious stuff is about right but it’s like they don’t even know anything about some less common characters. Gen is for sure in D though.
Matter of fact, I get agitated when I see eventhub’s “final tier list” for SF4. The game has been out for a year and there are still characters I feel are out of place on it.
See you guys this Sunday. Also, that tier list seems rushed. Surprised they have T.Hawk where he’s at. He’s alright but is completely shut out against good zoning characters with a projectile. Blanka should be a little lower.
