From what you say Spencer it looks like they did a bunch of nerfing in areas they did not need to nerf lol. I guess that is called balance(right Brent)lol
I’m just curious as why some people got set-damage limits on their SRK’s (all 3 versions deal same dmg), and others didn’t…and on characters that I feel didn’t need a nerf in that department.
But, this is all just speculation, We’ll really only find out how balanced the game is once it comes out.
Both in that special “Everything is new, and everything new found is considered Broken” period, and then once everything falls into place after time (months, years, etc).
Orochi_Shoto: ya, we usually don’t stop playing until 2-3 AM, but I think this weekend it’s an earlier start time? I’ll have to check it again.
Orochi - it will be worth it to get to play against plenty of different competition than what you are used to. It all boils down to if you want to come play from like 8pm until like 1am or 2am or whatever. But you will get to meet new folks, play lots of different comp, and have a fun trip for sure.
Milan - it depends on how it all turns out. Yes, this is their attempt at making the game more balanced. I will never understand why you have such a problem with anything ever being taken away in a fighting game. Even though they are taking some things away from Sagat they are adding other new things (or giving some old things back) in an attempt to balance things out. Think of it just like in this picture that traditionally is a symbol of justice – http://ux.brookdalecc.edu/fac/socsci/Scales_of_justice2.jpg – the crazy strong Sagat is weighing things down on the right side, however, they don’t want to screw him over and make him a worthless lightweight like on the left side. So they “balance” things out. They take one thing away (right tray) and add something else (left tray) and suddenly the 2 sides are much more equally balanced. Makes sense, right? I can see right through you in that you are trying to compare what he said with your views of Tekken, just like when I mention SF4 Vega and you try equating that to your views of T5DR Bruce. It’s not the same thing, dude.

I always felt like cammys DP’s had more priority than the other DP’s in the game, so I’m kinda glad her power got nerfed , on that one.
I’ve heard a number of players on Live, saying that they feel like Cammy is gonna be much better than her previous iteration, but as you said Spence, we’ll just have to wait and see how it all works out.
