Oh, this reminds me. Dragon from World Heroes. Fuck it, all the characters from World Heroes except for Mudman. I like the game alot but man… the character designs were so vanilla. Neo-Dio is a cool homage to JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure though.

I’m not going to argue canon with someone who only selectively likes the canon that ignores characters he hates. That is pretty biased.
Dan was made as a rip off of Ryo and Robert, and given ties to Sagat and eventually Blanka and the Shotos just so he fit in. Same is true with most characters, most characters are just made and then given a story after. Yeah Fei is based off of Bruce Lee, but that is not uncommon. Alot of characters in these games are based off of real people or characters in movies and anime and such. Even Ken and Ryu aren’t 100% original, with their original concept coming from Fist of the Northstar. Zangief is a complete Haggar rip off. Fuck, Akuma/Gouki is reference to a gaming magazine’s April Fool’s joke. He had no story at all until Alpha.

Fatal Fury 2’s Jubei. Has he appeared in ANYTHING else as a playable Character but 2 and Special? I’d love to see a game with him and Tung Fu Rue together.
Ryoko from World Heroes always remind me of Jubei, so if they don’t wanna add an old man, they can just bring her back, and give her an KoF XII style redesign to make her more special. Wouldn’t mind seeing her paired up with Kasumi Todo.

And lastly, I want another Techromancer. With new characters inspired by Guren Lagaan and GaoGaiGar. Add a Mecha piolted by SFIV’s Rufus (Why Not?), make sure Bloodia is there, and that Mech from Lost planet, super-huge of course, and we have a perfectly oversized game for Downloadable services 
Even better if it was a full release retail game, done in a graphic style that emulated general mecha anime…
