=)
i have a few genesis 6 button (well megadrive actually) around somewhere too, i like the boomerang feel
To anyone interested in these, Iāve found a few at a local pawn shop. As you could imagine, I was suspect at first. Now I might go bag a few.
On an unrelated note, does anyone know what pad fanatiq uses? He plays Marvel so I assumed it was a DC pad but Iāve not been able to determine.
Depends on the game.
BlazBlue and SF4? SFIV Fightpad
SF2 HD Remix? 360 pad
3D fighters? DS2
If they click nicely as described, put them up in Trading Post and/or PM me. kthnx
I never use the turbo functions. The only time I used it was to do Sagatās fake kick in the SFIV trial mode.
Those pads are imo the next best thing to the Saturn pads. If only there were more Genesis controller adapters.
Iāve thought about buying a Retroport USB Genesis adapter and trying it out on PS3. Did anyone do this before and if so does it work?
looks a lot like these on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350214918226
if you do, please let us know. iām curious myself =)
To be honest, the eBay link posted above is a better bet. It would be about 15 bucks for me to purchase and ship them to you, and Iām not quite able to sell stuff yet
i was curious and did a search on ebay for āred ps2 controllerā after finding those and there are several different sellers
long story short, i had to order one haha
According to this thread:
http://www.sega-16.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7924
The Genesis controllers have a weird 4-button layout on the Retroport when used on PS3.
Thereās also an argument over whether the Sega Saturn usb controllers are genuine or counterfeit.
haha very nice.
now sell me a boxed saturn pad thanks!
interesting. thanks for the info!
Im considering purchasing a turbo pad for super street fighter hdr.
Which one is the one to buy?
&
Using a Turbo-Pad, how much difference can it make then to the normal standad xbox 360 pad? Out of 10 marks would you say?
(Research before I buy lol)
for me my favourite pad to play sf on was the pre analog ps1 pad
that thing was the Don of the pads in my opinion,
perfect size weight and the d pad was savage!..
that or the n64 pad:smile:
from where did you score this bling gem man?
anyone try one of the snes retro link controls

Sorry for reviving this thread, but I just wandered back hereā¦
I almost never use turbo in SNES games (especially not fighting games), but wow. I wouldnāt mind one of those, just in case.
And your collection is incredible. I have no desire to own a gold Hori pad though, I must say. Iām happy with the black one.
You should keep checking eBay. As I said earlier, itās my favorite fighting pad for ANY console, and definitely worth getting if you ever find one (black or gold).
Sweet Jesus thats a rad looking padā¦
I remember this pad on the SNES that instead of having a regular d-pad it had like this flat blue octagon thing that you barely had to touch for it to register an input. Did they ever make something like that for any other systems as Iād like to use a pad like that for beat 'em ups on the 360.
EDIT: Here is the controller, http://www.estarland.com/product28658.html, took me a while to get used to it when I was younger but I actually liked playing with it since it didnāt wear your thumbs out after playing games for hours on end.
Turbo Touch 360. I donāt have fond memories of this thing. Itās NES/SNES/Genesis so I donāt think youāll find a converter for the 360. You might be able to get it to work on the PC via a SNES-USB converter.
