Yeah, I use that a lot too vs bison. It beats his hk mk spam from max distance and you get the knockdown. cr.lp into exgh is also good against sagat’s st.hk if you’re at the right distance.

Dude you are the only gief that I’ve seen that combos consistently and flawlessly. Amazing. You truly put your time in. The first guile video I watched you actually comboed with crouch or standing jab. Is that the new finisher instead of the nerfed LK? Seems like its alot easier to combo.

VS both players I wasn’t really familiar with the matchup… I had no idea about the requirements to punish the air cannon strikes either. If he does them short so they hit low it looks safe, if he does them high i can probably ultra/spd but he’s not going to do them high if he can help it. Zak says Cammy’s pokes are better (that kick poke especially), I need to determine what is best to combat it in training mode.
Any opinions on what I was doing wrong (jumping aside)? Can ANYTHING stuff cannon strike on wakeup? I think after knockdown I can crossup and land with early knees before cannon strike comes out, to punish the whiff.

Since I’m trying to learn Ibuki, the best punish for a blocked ex DP kick is to focus attack her. If she does a kunai, you’ll just absorb it and get her as she lands. If she doesn’t kunai, you still have plenty of time to get her during her recovery.

That’s the first time I’ve actually seen someone use os hand on teleport in a match. Everyone needs to learn it and use it more. It’s very useful to keep Akumas from teleporting away. Nice videos.
