Just wanted to drop in and say thanks again for the awesome service that you always provide. Everything that I’ve wanted to order has almost always been in stock and always ships so fast (even sometimes the same day!). The few times I’ve needed to contact customer service have been very painless and a great experience.
Thanks again! Can’t wait for my Qanba preorder to come in
Thanks, Keres. We place customer satisfaction high on the list and try to answer all questions within 24 hours or less.
Note that while it may seem that FA doesn’t have everything that the other guys have, we’re investing in items each month, such as the Q4RAFs, Uila Series button LEDs, and Sparky RGB controllers (updated version). If we don’t have it now, we’re likely working on getting it in due time.
I’ll also do my best to listen to suggestions for new items. Of them, the loudest has been TE plexi-overlays. Another are actual cases. Right now, I’m working with a supplier that is trying to get plexis made. Will keep you updated. Further, we are talking with Team FoeHammer on offering cases to you, starting with their basic line.
We’ll have more in due time. Thanks for sticking around!
That’s destinydmm. And I’m glad to help and hear that everything is going well in the testing. Looking forward to the PS360+s. Can’t wait for them to come out!!
 Very sorry about that destinydmm. Apparently didn’t have my coffee that day.
That said, this is actually a good segway into some news regarding the PS360+. Per from Akishop contacted me the other day and allowed me to share some information regarding the PCBs new interface.
The PS360+ will now have a RJ45 interface. RJ45 has become a popular standard for most custom joystick configurations and utilizes wiring that is less likely to slip during play, among other benefits.
Per reassures me that he wants to release the PS360+ as soon as possible because it costs him money to prolong the manufacturing process. He will still promising Q3, so I hope that those who have-preordered can stick around long enough to enjoy the benefits of the PS360+ and its new RJ45 interface.
Hmmm… Poop. Now I have to buy a new cable. Anyone know where I can get a cheap RJ45 to USB cable? I have got this in my stick that I’m waiting on my PS360 for. How would I got about this? I’m assuming just a short RJ45 to USB right?
The best way is to crimp on a RJ45 plug on the end of a USB cable It just sucks if you do not have a crimper
I’m not sure why there is a need for RJ45 port on a PCB that only does USB systems PS3/360/PC unless they are adding more systems compatibly like ps2/saturn/DC .etc
Please let me get back to Per about the cable change. I’m not experienced with every interface that is used for controllers, but believe there is a good reason - even if I can’t publish it right away - that the RJ45 is being used instead of the USB.
Yeah, if it will have support for older systems I’m super excited… If not I’m confused… Also, I don’t have a crimper, now what?
Everytime I see posts regarding the PS360s I can’t help but think that getting these in your store was probably WAY more stressful than you ever could have thought. You’re doing a great job of handling it by the way, your store and customer service never fails to impress.
@Nogood56er Thanks for the kudos. I’ll admit that things behind the restock of PS360 has been tough; I imagine they are tougher on Per than even me.
When I originally asked about the new features that will appear in the PS360+, Per explained to me that he cannot confirm what they are until the functionality driving those features were finalized and tested. To say that the the PS360+ is “well worth the wait” - as he posts on the Akishop website - could indicate that something impressive is in the works. While I cannot confirm that yet, I believe that Per of Akishop is well aware that those inhabiting SRK’s Tech Talk aren’t fools, and aren’t easily swayed with a statement like that. This is why I think he is offering a worthwhile upgrade, despite having to keep things under wraps.
I’ll be eagerly awaiting to see what the new board is. I got an empty SE case from a friend that I’m currently working on & want to put the PS360+ in it.
Haha I’m in the same boat, but not B15, unfortunately. No offense to MPKcustoms, he sent me a great stick case and I couldn’t be happier with it, but B15 is the undisputed king of custom sticks… Also the most expensive.
Hate to interrupt all this, but I’ve been having trouble with my PS360 PCB (which I purchased from Focusattack.com) as of late. My PS3 no longer recognises it, but it works perfectly in my friend’s 360. I’ve heard about boards becoming “stuck” in Xbox mode, and this seems to be the case for me. The crazy thing is, I didn’t hadn’t used it in an Xbox for several weeks when this happened. My PC recognises it as an Xbox device too. And just to clarify, it’s a 360 Madcatz TE.
I’ve posted this in a couple of other places here and read a thread containing the issue, but there doesn’t seem to be any (working) solution. I hate to hassle, but I’m just a little ticked off that I’ve essentially bought a board that does nothing
I wanted to post a quick follow up after talking to Per of Akishop. He explained that the reason behind the RJ45 interface was indeed to carry additional console compatibility besides the PS3 and XB360. As of yet, he will not specify which additional consoles will be included.
What this means is that the PS360+ will allow your joystick to work with additional units besides PS3, XB360 and PC.
@Warpticon, I believe that the RJ45 interface will replace USB.
@firstandlasttime - PM me your order number. I believe that you’ve tried posting at Akishop’s thread for a while and didn’t get a solution. I’m sorry about that.
@butteroj, @mtlTom, @Nogood56er: I hope the news behind the PS360+ may help sate each of you a little while longer until it’s released.
Thanks for the heads up! I have more JLFs coming this week. We’re also working with a new supplier that can get us additional Sanwa and Seimitsu parts that our original supplier didn’t have.
