Quite right - again, we’re awaiting word from Akishop as to when they’ll ship. I spoke to him last week, but no confirmation yet as to when in June. This statement is also directed to beat_beast: June 6th (or June 11th) was a proposed date. I still don’t have anything more specific other than Akishop stating that the PS360+ will ship in June.
Glad that you received the Q4RAF! It’s a pretty nice stick. I haven’t yet playtested it (so busy serving you guys lol), but we will get plexis and hole plugs in the next shipment. My supplier says that an order was made and should have already shipped. Right now I’m anticipating the shipment will arrive by end of June, and we should have about 40 units. Plexis will cost $14.79, and color hole plugs at $1.79.
We’ll have those back in stock by Friday. Sorry for the delay - they sold out quicker than we expected at the end of the month.
While I can’t say that we’ll have them soon, I’m getting a new supplier that has access to a lot more Sanwa and Seimitsu parts than my current one, so it’s possible that we can carry the larger balltops.
Are you guys still in the process of shipping out Qanba preorders? I preordered one and still have yet to hear anything about my order being shipped and what not. Jealous of the people who already got theirs, ;(.
@Kiotsukete: Yes, we’re shipping from earliest preorders to the latest with non-preorders in between. We ship about 8-10 boxes a day since last week. That said, please mention your order number and I can check with my supplier about the status of your joystick.
We’re not taking preorders for the next batch in order to avoid the problems that occurred in the first Qanba shipment. Hopefully we should receive them regularly each month.
Come June 25th during Shadowloo 2K11, one (or possibly two) players can enter for the chance to win a Qanba Q4RAF joystick! We’ll have details on focusattack.com by end of next week.
My order number was #1941. Just concerned since doing the math it’s been roughly 7-8 days of shipping these Qanbas out. You said you guys were shipping 8-10 a day, and if there was 50 preorders initially for the Qanba, would think I would have heard something about my package right now at this point. But thank you for taking the time to respond.
Thanks for the follow up. I’ll have my packer ship your order first thing tomorrow morning. We had a list going for all orders, but the system is imperfect.
If anyone else is expecting that their preorders should have already shipped and hasn’t received a response from us, please contact service@focusattack.com. We have just a few left (some set aside for contest), so we should have sent nearly all pre-order and non-preorders.
Hey JMAN thank you so much for all your hard work. We got the Sanwa buttons today!!! I appreciate you helping and looking out for your customers. Top notch customer service, now we’re ready for CEO tomorrow!!!
I’ll post the link to our new stick design… SRK please chime in on your thoughts - would 'preciate it very much.
Any word on the PS360+? I am assuming its not going to be till later this month since its the 11th today… I wish I ordered one earlier lol. Since my TE PCB is fried.
What the hell?! I’ve kept my tongue latched after all the delays and the hoopla Japan’s going through and all the other little annoyances but seriously, if this is really going to be inevitably delayed; there needs to be concrete information. Someone needs to setup a blog or a separate thread with a breakdown of information and events as they unfold. I mean that’s possibly the entire summer gone before, what?
I appreciate the work, I appreciate the pre-order price, but I don’t appreciate the lack of information. I’m speaking on behalf of those who have already put their cash down. If you’ve received money, then you need to supply information if you can’t deliver the product by when and when. There would be far less people nitpicking and asking, who-what-where-when-why if the information was provided forthright.
You know what I am going to ask for my money back because I am not waiting till frackin’ September. I will try and see if people have regular PS360 lying around. They shouldn’t even made a new one if its this much trouble to make. The current one is apparently perfectly fine. I don’t see why they need to change it.
At least make the recent model still available for people that don’t want to wait…
Is there someone else that has the same PCB or equivalent I need my new fightstick done now.
You can try using the paewang PCB from www.etokki.com. The paewang does work on PC/360/PS3 just fine. Some differences is that the paewang requires soldering and there is an attached USB cord. Keep in mind that etokki ships from korea but when i ordered there it took about a week to arrive from when it shipped.
I’m not at all surprised at the responses posted here regarding the PS360+. Please understand that We as a company are dependent on the information - or lack thereof - that our manufacturers provide. Right now were are dependent on Akishop’s turnaround time to releas the product so please take care in directing any negative feelings about the repeated delays towards our store. In many cases, we share them and are trying to work with Akishop in pushing the release date sooner through additional manufacturing channels.
In the meantime, we will halt ordering the PS360+ until production is complete and the boards are shipping to us.
Please contact us at service@focusattack.com if you have any questions about your existing order or other matters relating to the PS360+.
Any Idea when toggleme’s aluminum red bat tops will be back in stock? It would look so awsome on a Hori VLX. Also, I couldn’t find Qanba’s colored hole plugs.
@JayDucky Wish I could say those will get restocked, but they haven’t sold too well and I hadn’t purchased more. Not sure if I’ll restock them again. Sorry about that.
Regarding the Qanba hole plugs, they’re coming with the next restock of joysticks (getting about 40). Also coming are the Qanba plexi faceplates. We’re working on getting additional faceplates for joysticks as well. Restock will occur in early July.
