Lots of good news!
Any updates on the Q4’s?

Man I have got to stop sleeping all day!!! Dang 7-7a 12 hours shifts.

@jmanDMC - Any updates on the PS-14-Ks? Also, are you possibly stocking microswitches in the future like Sanwa SW-68 or RS-SG?

So far they’re on schedule for delivery and shipping out starting May 21. Once acquired, we’ll start shipping out as many as possible per day (still a small operation, so packing space is limited). My supplier is ordering another shipment as soon as he gets the first one. That following shipment will contain plexis and potentially the colored hole plugs that Qanba recently released.

An order for PS-14-Ks was made this week, and should arrive by this weekend. We’ll have them in stock by Monday the latest. With that, we’ll finally have the smoke balltops. Sorry for the wait.

As for microswitches, I’m working with another supplier to get separate rims and plungers, so I’ll likely add microswitches for both Sanwa buttons and joysticks. I don’t yet have a time table for it yet because I’m getting the PS360+ & USB connectors, LED button PCBs + Sparky LED controllers, Crazy Buffalo shirts and QRAF4s over the next month and a few weeks. That’s a lot to buy. :}

Nice! can’t wait… but a question regarding the plexi’s and stuff… Does this mean that people who purchase the next shipment of Q4’s get plexi’s + colored button plugs with their order or does it mean you will have plexi’s ready to be sold and shipped along with the stick? OR… does it mean you will send out free plexis to the first preorder of Q4’s?

Does this mean the pre-orders get plexis?

I’m afraid that Qanba is not offering plexis or colored hole plugs for free with their joysticks. They are including two black hole plugs with each joystick, however. You have to buy the plexis separately. What I meant is that the plexis will come in the next shipment, since Qanba didn’t ship them with our first order.

That said, when the plexis do arrive, we’ll offer the same reasonable price for the plexis as other retailers are offering, as with the colored plugs.

So what are my chances of getting one of those super sweet Q4 sticks when they show up in three weeks? =)

If you preordered, then chances are excellent. If you’re looking to buy once they arrive, chances are very good as we’ll have close to 20 units. You can also take a chance to win one when we launch a contest during ECT3!

Shipping status of this week’s orders

Hey all,

Last week I posted a message about my fulfillment coordinator going on vacation. This is just a reminder that while she’s out, I’m packing orders personally this week on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. Non-preorders placed this week will ship Monday, Wednesday and Friday. My fulfillment coordinator will arrive next week, returning to the quick shipping you expect from FA.

Updates

Regarding some supplies of pushbuttons. My supplier is re-ordering Sanwa OBSN-30 screw-ins, which is why FA is out of the most popular colors. Once they are back in stock, we’ll have plenty to offer, and will try to keep on top of those.

Keeping up with the selection of pushbuttons is daunting. We’ll finally have Seimitsu PS-14-K snap-in pushbuttons in all colors next week, same low price as the PS-14-KN screw-ins. We’ll also have Seimitsu smoke balltops for anyone that is interested. UPDATE 5/5/2011: :wtf: Seimitsu sent my supplier 500 clear balltops instead an order of 200 clear and 300 smoke balltops. #FAIL. I’m sorry about this, guys. That said, we also found a new supplier and will alternate core and restock orders with them.

Qanba Q4RAFs are still scheduled to arrive May 21, and will start shipping that weekend. Due to the large number of preorders, we’ll start shipping in sets of at least 5 per day. We’ll also have at least 15 in stock for immediate ship, if you missed out of the pre-order. Regarding plexi tops, we’ll have them as soon as the 2nd shipment of Q4s arrive, which may be early or mid June. Unfortunately Qanba didn’t send them in the first shipment. That said, we should also have stock of the Qanba color hole plugs.

Stay tuned for ECT3 for your chance to win your own Q4!

Regarding the PS360+, I’m awaiting more information from Akishop, who is busy working on the upgraded version. Once more details are available, I’ll share them with you here.

Keep it here for progress info on our upcoming button LED and controller series in partnership with Paradisearcadeshop.com and Sparky Jr!

Hey thanks for the heads up jmanDMC. I honestly would have canceled my order for the Q4 out of impatience (not your fault) if you hadn’t been as responsive answering small things here.

It’s understood, and thanks! We know that you - as a deserving customer - should get a response to your questions as quickly as possible. No answer is too small to reply to. I’m glad that you stuck around – we want the Q4s in and out of our facility as quickly as possible, so you can get what you paid for.

I’ll keep you and others here updated on the status of the joysticks once they arrive, as well as any new and upcoming items that might interest you.

Much appreciated!

thanks!

I might be @ ECT3, hopefully showing off the Qanba Q4RAF ;p

Nice! If anyone asks, I hope you’ll tell 'em where you got it.

Figured I’d show some of the sticks I’ve been working on. Tell me what you think. I’ll eventually be selling the black one (as is or for PS3 - depends on whats requested)

I’ve installed my PS360 now btw. I just said “screw it” and ignored the turbo panel completely, so I’ve got no select or home buttons, but whatever, it works. Anything new on that external turbo panel thingy?

What stick did you install it into? Mad Catz SE or TE? There is a way to utilize the turbo panel with the PS360.

Got my 6 Sinix pins in the mail earlier this week. Thanks jman! I will keep ordering until I get another UFS card hahahahaha

PS3 TE. So no, not without soldering, which is why I skipped it.

I recommend learning how to solder just so the none of the PCBs intact go to waste. I personally can’t help it if one of the SE/TE sticks I work on have a non-functioning Home/Turbo panel.

Just solder separate wires for Turbo and Home onto the targeted points and also a ground from Home/Turbo panel PCB, apply hot glue to ensure hold: ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting
