If we decide on including taglines the first two will have ones with pre-made taglines. Each following month or so, Focusattack.com will hold a fun SINIX Design SSF4 t-shirt contest for the best tagline. The highest voted tagline will get printed with the shirt, and the winner will receive a pair of the shirts along with the entire collection of SINIX Design SSF4 buttons. I’ll let you know when this gets rolling.
Almost, I was leaning towards 36 people with each their own individual shirt lining up to recreate the character select screen with the [Ryu] shirt person being at the top left, and at the very bottom right have a [Random Select ?] shirt person.
Oh I see now! When all the shirts are released, that would be possible. One helluva photo. lol I’ll let everyone know once the first set of shirts are available.

Are you guys planning on stocking up on some “Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT-SK”. I managed to snag 3 SE’s while walmart was selling em for 30 bucks and I prefer this over the JLF that’s currently offered at your shop.
Mechanically they’re the same stick. You just need to remove the restrictor gate and re-orient the main switch assembly… you can do that in 30 seconds without any tools.
Yes, focusattack.com will have 8YTs in stock soon. The last batch we got from Sanwa was incorrectly marked as 8YTs, so we had to move those and order again. Likely we’ll only carry this version from now on. PaperTigre is right about the assembly, however.
Is that really the only difference? Had no idea. I’ll keep that In mind. To be totally honest, I’ve just been researching on how to mod sticks for quite some time now and figured since I’d have 3 sticks, I could make a project out of em and in a lot of threads/post/videos, the JLF-TP-8YT-SK has been the model standard and I just don’t wanna make any mistakes.
I pretty much understand how to swap out the parts from the many threads and videos I’ve seen and I don’t think it could be any more straight forward but when you have zero experience with modding your 1st couple of sticks, it generally becomes something bigger than it actually is.
I have the confidence to mod it without any mishaps and If I’m successful in these quick small mods, I’ll try to move onto something more complex like understanding the wire harnesses, soldering, de-soldering, installing pcb’s, and etc. That and I’ve almost tapped myself buying the sticks but who wouldn’t when they’re that cheap. I’m planning on doing artwork mods as well.
I could honestly just resell the sticks by themselves and get 40-50 bucks each for them all day everyday but I’ve always wanted to mod some sticks.
Sanwa sells a whole slew of “configurations”, but as far as a JLF there are only two that actually matter to you.
One with the 5 pin harness (like I said, it comes in a few configurations, but they’re the same parts, just turned one way or another), and one with tabbed microswitches.
Ordered some buttons Tuesday night, had them at my door when I got in last night. Even threw in a trading card of Hugo belly flopping Karin, pretty nice!
