Just wanted to remind you that the Mortal Kombat 9 TE contest will end tonight at 9PM. Now’s your chance to get the same joystick that will power the Mortal Kombat competition at EVO 2011! To enter, simply fill out a poll telling us which console you plan to play MK9 on. One winner per console, and prizes are shipped on the official street date.

Yes. This one was unexpected and wholly out of our control. I’m sorry to everyone that has already pre-ordered for the delays. Those who are familiar with Focusattack.com know that quick turnaround and customer satisfaction is very important to me. That said, I’m dependent on the timeliness of the manufacturers of those popular products I offer. This applies to recent preorders such as the Qanba Q4RAF, and the Akishop PS360. Both companies are experiencing delays, and I’m following up with them.
Now that the Qanba Q4RAF has finally shipped to us and, I anticipate that we can finally ship them the weekend of May 21st. To note, we now have at least two pre-order units from the initial batch. If you were looking to get this joystick, you can pre-order one now.
We’ll keep you posted once they are received and available for both pre-order shipping and purchase at the store.

There are a number of new products coming to Focusattack.com, and we’ll do our best to make sure any original and new products are covered in detail to make installation easy. A good example of this kind of support is evident in the PS360 and Gummowned/Elis wood TE-S sides. We don’t expect everyone to be an expert joystick modder.
Some new and exciting products are coming for those who dig LED modding. I’ll keep you guys posted.

I have some PS360+ news for those who pre-ordered at FA. Right now we’re looking at restocking the end of next month (May). Akishop specified that production of the new chip is underway. The manufacturing is US-based, and they are making serious changes to the original design and functionality. The changes will address issues with the original version, plus add features that improve it. He promises that it will be something special - I can’t specify anything more just yet. Further, we will have USB interfacing parts available to make installations of the PS360+ easier to perform. Those will be also available separately, and later available with the PS360+ as a bundle. No more shopping around for those parts. I’ll update the site to reflect the new date.
Some quick LED news. We’re teaming up with another arcade parts retailer to offer not one, but 3 pushbutton LED solutions. Each of them are designed for players with high, middle and low end needs, and priced accordingly. All PCBs will be pre-wired, which means no soldering is needed. It will fit into the Seimitsu PS-14-K and KN series buttons, plus interface with the Sparky RGB line of LED controllers, which we will also carry. We’ll have these items available for purchase separately, or as a bundle. I can’t say too much more yet, but I’m definitely excited about it.

Thanks much for the kudos. I’m speaking with the LED button supplier who may have an improved variation of the Sparky controller coming. At the moment, we’re still discussing the matter, and the option for an improved controller was brought up just yesterday, so we’re going to take our time to get things right.
A heads up to you guys if anyone is willing to part with their no longer used XB360 TE PCBs, destinydmm and Gummowned would be glad to take them for their projects. Send them a PM.
