Hi Czargeist. Can you mention what your order number is? Was it shipped via Priority Mail, or First Class. Do you live outside of the US?

One of the challenges we face is customer expectation. Unfortunately this leaves us in a spot because we cannot control what the post office - a wholly separate organization from us - actually does with the millions of packages it processes. The post office does not provide businesses with any more information or assistance than consumers. If we went with services like UPS or FedEx, we might get more assistance, but shipping rates would be much higher. We definitely try to help where we can, and sometimes that means we lose on something entirely not our fault.

All that said, however, please let us know your info by answering those questions and we’ll try to assist. If you live outside of the US, tracking will not update once it leaves the country, and must go to your country’s custom’s processing center. It also takes several weeks to arrive - First Class International is the cheapest yet slowest service offered by USPS. If you live in the US and chose First Class, it again does not have tracking - just delivery confirmation. It also takes several days to arrive, versus Priority Mail’s 2-3 days across the USA. We mention this in our store F.A.Q and shipping & returns policy.

Ah, my package arrived yesterday without anything amiss! I guess I’m just not used to the shipping rates of First Class Mail. Sorry for the trouble.

please tell me foe hammer will be supplying the site with those beautiful new cases. maybe 3 of each color with the sega layout for starters.

I’m afraid that we’re not aware of any new cases being proposed by FoeHammer. We’re having a bit of trouble moving through the Arcade DIYs so I’m not sure what new cases we’ll get to add from FH.

I put in one order on 6/15, then another one on 6/17. The first order arrived on 6/18 with a couple of things missing. I contacted them via the web form on the same day. Less than 72 hours later, the second order arrives including the missing parts from the first order–along with a note apologizing for the mixup. These people are a pleasure to deal with, and quick to address their customer’s concerns. Their web layout is intuitive to navigate. Their catalog’s selection is astounding.

I hadn’t ordered parts since the decline of Lizard Lick. It’s good to see that a new and superior alternative now exists for the scene.

We definitely appreciate the positive feedback. There’s plenty that we can do to make the customer experience online and offline even better, and will give that focus in the coming months.

hey what happened to the sanwa mesh balltops? i remember you used to carry all the colors and now… its just the white one lol

Hi brainxfrozen,

I asked my fulfillment coordinator about the lack of other colors, as we did restock on a few that were available from our supplier.

A while back we went in with Akishop Customs to get a supply of original style mesh balltops in all colors. Unfortunately Sanwa does not offer that product outside of custom orders that require several hundred pieces. Our current supplier has a few colors in the new style, and I thought that we had added them to inventory. I see that we have Black, White and Dark Hai listed.

As Sanwa doesn’t provide mesh balltops regularly, we’re limited in what our supplier currently has available before they order a large shipment again.

Q: Do you know if Sanwa offered the limited edition AOU balltops this year and if so do you have any plans on carrying them?

I’m afraid that Sanwa doesn’t sell them outside of AOU.

I’m having issues with my paypal account… do you accept visa electron? if so… how can i pay using it?

Hi lessu - I can’t say that we’ve ever accepted a Visa Electron Debit card, so I’m uncertain as to whether it can be used. If it can work like a credit card - in which you enter the card number, expiration date and security number - you can use it to purchase.

forgot to mention, got my return. thanks a bunch.!

Hi all,

June has come and gone rather quickly this year. We’ve had a fantastic time supporting CEO 2012 on June 8th-11th. CEO was one of the few remaining seed tournaments before EVO 2012 - one of the worlds largest and most anticipated fighting game tournaments - takes place in July. We close out this month with several worthwhile items: a fresh restock of Sanwa and Seimitsu arcade parts; a new incentive that could save you up to 5% off your total order every day in July; a public release date for the highly desired Akishop PS360+ multi-console joystick PCB, and a Twitter contest that awards eight contestants each a $25 Focusattack.com gift certificate.

Our latest restock includes the following items:

WHAT’s COMING?

In mid-July we are finally able to release a multi-console PCB that is nearly a year in the making

Akishop PS360+ PCB

The original Akishop PS360 PCB provided an easy, solder-free method to add modern console compatibility to your joystick. After one year redesigning from the ground up, plus extensive testing by skilled joystick builders from Shoryuken.com’s Tech Talk group, Akishop is back with a venerable upgrade that provides not only major console compatibility, extensive connectivity and robust features, but is software and firmware upgradable for additional consoles, starting with Playstation 1 & 2. Welcome to the ***PS360+***.

On Saturday, July 14th, we will offer the Akishop PS360+ PCB for $59.95. We’re offering discounts on any accessories purchased with the PCB, such as the HSB and supporting cables. We’ll have pricing for those items later. Here is a list of the additional items we will have available for purchase:

Not sure how to hook up the PS360+ to your joystick? SRK Team Tech Talk member*** Lucas Cooper (a.k.a Nerrage)*** will have extensive videos that show you how to install the PS360+ in a Madcatz PS3 or XBOX360 Tournament Edition joystick, plus a custom joystick. He also covers the installation of the PS360+ HSB external headset PCB and use of the cables to connect the joystick to your console.

For all details behind Akishop’s latest multi-console PCB, stop by their new website Akishop-customs.com.

Long update, but I’ll try to keep those on the forum involved on anything new that is coming to the store. Thanks!

Do you have any pricing information for the USB and PSX RJ-45 cables?

Hey PaperTigre,

As I mentioned in the post, we’ll have pricing on those items later. We haven’t received them from Akishop yet, and will offer retail pricing shortly afterwards.

Will the gift certificate winners be announced on Twitter or elsewhere?

Also just want to commend you on order speed, I placed an order on Monday the 18th and it got here on Friday the 22nd. And I live in Canada. Mind-boggling!

Hi Lord British! Thanks for the good vibes.

The contest will take place on Twitter, so yes, the winners will be announced on Twitter.

YES. Ive been waiting for a year. I still have to dig up my RMA/order number.

Bartstation,

In early June, we sent an email to everyone that has a pre-order for the PCB. In that message, and the messages that followed anyone that didn’t respond to the first and second email, we specified that those who pre-ordered had to provide their address to confirm if it had changed or not. We did this to avoid shipping to an incorrect address, which may have changed over the year. Anyone that failed to provide that confirmation by June 25th would have their order cancelled and refunds would begin rolling out the following week.

That said, what is your order number?
