** Focusattack.com fighting game store **

I didn’t mean to add “Japanese”. Yes it is true that Sanwa is more widely used than Seimitsu; however, I only stated that both are top of the market companies for arcade parts. Not specifying on what brand is preferred on Japanese arcade machines but Seimitsu still holds its place.

It was in comparison to Sanwa. I felt it was assumed, based on what jmanDMC said.

Hi all,

Sorry for the delayed reply. We can agree when comparing Sanwa and Seimitsu as the two leading Japanese arcade pushbutton manufacturers, Seimitsu holds a close second in popularity. The issue is that among American players, Sanwa still has a clear popularity lead over Seimitsu, which means that the latter products take a while to move as opposed to the former.

To start, we’re planning to get the following items:
[]PS-14-G-N in all colors, black. Currently no black rim variants.
[
]PS-14-G-N-C in all colors, black. Currently no black rim variants.
[]PS-14-D-N in all colors, black. Currently no black rim variants.
[
]PS-14-D-N-C in all colors, black. Currently no black rim variants.
[]PS-15 in all colors, black. May choose black rim variants.
[
]PS-14-P Pearl in all colors
Initial QTY will be low for each, but we’ll build based on demand. If black rim also has demand, we’ll look into it.

We plan to have these available in July.

There are a number of additional items we plan to add to the store, based on a priority list suggested by SRK’s Tech Talk Lucas Cooper (aka Nerrage). We’ll keep you posted.

One additional note: We’re still awaiting confirmation from Akishop regarding the PS360+. We don’t yet know when they are to ship, because we haven’t received a shipping invoice. We will only have 150pcs available because we must fulfill a large number of pre-orders made last year. When Akishop will allow us to restock after the 150pcs are gone is anyone’s guess - we’re hoping to buy more once we get the first batch as we expect those to move quickly.

Thanks!

Not to be the guy that immediately follows up news of expanded product line with more demands, but…

Any chance of you carrying Seimitsu PS-14-G buttons? Gotta love the flat-top snap-ins.

I second that I love those flat baby boys PS-14-G’s FO-LIFE J-MAN FO-EVA anna EVA

I don’t know if we’re carrying those yet. We offered to carry the GN line because screwbuttons on Sanwa’s side are limited in color. When you’re buying several hundred pcs, it’s harder to say which ones you can pick up especially when dealing with snapbuttons. Seimitsus are nice but people don’t buy them as much.

If we do, we’ll start with a qty of 50pcs of all colors + black (not black rim colors) and see how they do.

The thing about is the PS-14G has a totally different look than all Sanwa and Seimitsu buttons its actually a bigger button where the PS-14GN is just a less popular replica of the very popular Sanwa buttons for people who think sanwas are too sensitive.

PS-14G on the left and PS-14GN on the right (old buttons a little scuffed up)

If you have not put in the order yet maybe you should put up a poll to see what people prefer G’s or GN’s

Thanks for the clarification. I wasn’t familiar with the GNs or Gs that they would actually have a difference. Why that is the case makes no sense to me; I would have assumed that the GNs would have the same build as the G except the latter is a screw-button.

We haven’t placed an order for the buttons just yet, but will likely consider carrying the Gs as well.

yeah its totally different then how sanwa’s are in that both screw-in/snap-ins look alike only maybe JDM714 could tell the difference o_O so I can see how you would think that. You could always do a poll but I know there have been a decent amount of people looking for them and the only way to get their hands on them is to import them. If you have ever seen a Namco and its buttons there like a better version of those

the PS14-G’s would be the ones i’m interested in, if my 2 cents count for anything

hey, do you (guys) sell the MC Cthulhu boards as “build yourself” kits too or are they all pre assembled?

Toodles does not sell those anymore only fully assembled for all Mc/M+ boards

doh fiddlesticks

Hi all,

We’ll purchase the PS-14-G buttons and offer them in July. We may purchase the black rim variant as well.

I’ll try to keep up announcements that are mentioned on Facebook and Twitter.

Next Monday, we are offering the Seimitsu K-N clear 24 and 30mm rings. The rings will fit the Sanwa N series screwbuttons, and can replace the OBSN’s bulky orange rings to properly fit in the TE. We’ll have pricing on Monday.

In September, we are offering the 25th Anniversary Street Fighter collector box that was recently announced at Capcom. http://www.geeky-gadgets.com/capcom-25th-anniversary-street-fighter-collection-25-05-2012/

We’ll offer a collector box for PS3 and XB360. More to come. Thanks for the support!

Thank you Jman DMC you are my hero I will be sure to point anyone looking for PS-14G’s your way along with their other needs as well.
That’s cool that you will be stocking the 25th Anniversary set as well. I started a thread a few days ago about it so I’ll be sure to let people know.

Just wanted to correct our last post. We’re offering the 25th anniversary box set as a** contest prize** in September. :] Thanks!

Seconded. You are a pal. These are the only buttons I use and I always have to get them from Japan.

Wanted to confirm. Are the PS-14-D also flat button?

yes they are exactly the same as ps-14-G just 24mm I’m not sure if the **PS-14-D-N are flat or not **

PS-14-D-N are not flat, they’re convex like their PS-14-G-N counterpart. The only retail Japanese buttons available that are flat are the PS-14-G and PS-14-D buttons, the former being 30 mm obviously and the latter being 24 mm. No other commonly used push button is flat besides those two.

In terms of non-Japanese flat buttons, the only other widely-used button are the Korean Crown buttons, but those are 28 mm.
