I agree wholeheartedly with Zeus, Vega has no bad match-ups, yes even against Rufus. The worst are even 5-5.
hahaha yeah, its the reason all of the most awesome players flock to Vega, he is the only character in this game without bad matches, so the perfect choice if you are good at this game.

Vega clearly has a bad matchup against Rufus, it’s almost laughably bad. In the Ricky vs Zues match posted earlier (I didn’t log back in and kinda missed the window to respond), what you see happen every round there is Zues got his ass dominated in the neutral game (ISN’T THAT WERE VEGA IS SUPPOSED EXCELL GUYS?! THAT’S WHY HE HAS NO BAD MATCHUPS, SF4 IS ALL NEUTRAL GAME) because it’s Rufus, then manage to get a lucky knockdown off of something like c.LP and then try to coast his way to win off wakeup setups that Ricky never seen before (like that very obscure crossup j.HK and fake crossups). I wouldn’t bet on Zues being able to pull it off again now that Ricky knows, Ricky was very clearly outplaying Zeus cuz Vega actually had no options in the neutral game, then lose to all the knockdown setups. Which is really the ONLY way a good Vega can beat a good Rufus, hope that Rufus doesn’t know all the tricks.

You can OS db HK. Which if he backdashes he gets hit by our slide. If he uses EX Messiah to get out, he is nailed by a Cosmic Heel… then you can go to EX FBA to repeat the bullshit.
