that’s a sick urien man. Love the details in the muscles. Only thing that looks odd to me besides the eyes is the foreshortening on the upper right torso/arm area.

Alright guys! Again I’m back with the promised Chun and Viper drawings as well as a little surprise that I didn’t think I’d get to.
P.S.!!! Seriously! Let me know if you wanna see a specific character from me! I’m thinking Cammy should be up next. Maybe with some other characters in the same drawing. I’ll try to incorporate Juni and Juli. (seriously though, I can’t remember which is which.)

haha! No reflector. Not yet at least. Pain in the butt to make it look right so I gave up on it for now. BUT! I’ve got an idea on how to make it… maybe. If anyone else has an idea on how best to make the attack look right? I’m thinking of making on a new layer the whole shape of the Ageas (sp?) Reflector, cutting a hole in the middle of it and then using the lasso tool or similar to start cutting and manipulating smaller parts of the reflector to make it look like it’s coming together. Still very much a work in progress but eh~ Might as well show the progress.
Whoops~ Change of plans. I’ll be doing a pic of Sakura VS. Karin instead of Cammy. But I won’t be able to show you guys till next week anyway so that means I might still do the cammy pic as well. We’ll see what’ll happen but so far I’m happy with the way Sakura v Karin is looking and I’m sure you guys will like it too.
Our right I mean. sorry I didnt’ get to these earlier. Mainly the problem I saw was the rib muscles are placed too high and theres some weird muscles where the forearm meets the upper arm. We should see less of the bicep at that angle also.

my anatomy is a bit rusty but thats how it should look. If you wanna be sure, get some reference. Why make something up when you can find out?
Also for female legs, make sure you capture the curve of the leg. From the side profile the leg should make a slight S curve. The angle is hard to draw so make sure you get some kind of reference.

I see what your saying there on Urin now. Yeah, I wasn’t sure how to make the under arm and I really didn’t have a ready reference. My home computer doesn’t have internet access. I did my best with what I had but I still need a bit of refining to my craft. I’ll see what I can do to change him up a bit. Luckily, I still have the line art on a separate layer. What I do remember of anatomy though is that the rib muscles were supposed to be a set of three with two behind them. That always stuck with me and that’s what I tried to do. As far as his underarm goes, I guess I was just on a detail binge when I should really just leave a lot of that up to the imagination. My bad. I will use what you showed me and see what I can do!
As for chunners, I like what you did with her left leg there. The only reason I made the right leg the way I did was because I’m still trying to work with perspective. Trial and error, huh? At least you didn’t mention the thumbs which I’m oh too aware of. Thanks again for all the help. I’ll put it to good use later on tonight! See y’all next week!

Alllllllright folks! Big update that I’m sure you’ll enjoy!
First up. Using Dreaded Fist’s advice and taking it to heart, I changed up my drawings just a bit of both Chunners and Urin.
Chunners I just fixed her legs a little but not too much. I’m still trying to keep that perspective but now I decided to just go ahead and change her little front flap to blow to the side. Also fixed some of her hair ribbons.

Next it’s a side by side comparison to Urin. The arms changed a lot but a few other things I decided to change was his skin tone and some lines on his wrists. Thanks a lot Dreaded Fist for this one!

BACK! Sad to see no comments but anyway, still chugging along with my SF Fanart. And again, you guys will be the first to see my newest stuff. If you mean the C. Viper from my latest post, I did use two textures on her. For the Fire I used a burlap (or canvas, I was messing around with both) and while I kept that on a separate layer, I merged all the other colors and used the Vertical Grain effect for the rest. After that I just merged it all down and used the dodge tool on a few spots to make it really pop.

phew, man. This past weekend found me miserably sick. Still managed to put some colors on these lines though. Might be the last you’ll see of me for a little while, maybe. We’ll see because only time will tell. I might mess with this one some more and probably change up the background later. Oh, and there’s a good chance I messed up on both characters since I really don’t have a clear ref. for either of them. Tried to fix up El Fuerte’s boots but there’s only so much I could see from the official image of him from the SF4 art. idk, my head is kinnda foggy right now since I’m still trying to recover. Later dudes!
