Dudley SHOULD have a move that enables him to cross someone up, ala Ken’s j. forward or the Twins roundhouse dive kick on wake up in the corner. yeah. that’s right. oh. give Dudley 3 Rolling Thunders and give him a crouching (can only be blocked/parried LOW) hit confirm ala Chun. damn straight.

Elena - she doesn’t have a only high parried/blocked move u can confirm into super normally. if back and hk had enough frame advantage to link sa2 only on a standing opponent then elena would easily be top tier. one missed throw means being hit with the super so if the super remained 2 bars she would be top tier, to balance her out the super would probably be changed to a 1 super long bar. it makes sense for SA2 to be one bar if back and HK could confirm with it and the loss of EX’s might be missed from having only one bar but if u prefer EX’s she has SA1 more fully suited for that play style.
Remy - 3 bars for SA1. taunt should be a Q taunt length with the stun damage increase from taunt remaining for the whole round like Q’s taunt.
Ryu - Make him able to do cr. short, short -> EX fireball (decrease start up time)
Makoto - Same
Alex - Make his HCB LP come out faster. karakusa speed.
Urien - Same
Akuma - Same
Oro - let him build meter from whiffs faster, not as the rest tho
Yang - i like the fact u can super reversal against his ex slashes, so i wouldn’t see any changes to make him better since he’s pretty strong already.
Hugo - let him be able to link a crouching LP after a crouching short so he can confirm into SA3 this will give him a decent low game making him more dangerous to crouch against.
Q - Start him off with 2 taunt defense (3 taunts after for minor increments to get the normal 3rd taunt stage).
Ibuki - let her have more super jump cancel normals from her 2nd Impact incarnation.
Dudley - I thought his crouching short was a low parry and block so i dont see anything to change, maybe give more frame advantage on his towards and hk overhead enough to connect stand roundhouse on a crouching opponent if timed right.
Twelve - Give him meter for flying and let him take around the same damage as necro.
Necro - Faster back dash
Sean - Give him more stun damage on far standing fierce like oro’s st HK, keep the move the same frame disadvantage and start up tho.
Dud’s c. short is a low parry/block only. but it doesn’t have as much range as ahem the Shoto c. forward or cough Chun’s c. forward. and that’s what i want him to get :lol:. well, besides a jumping move that can cross up.

but what about his cr roundhouse? to me it wouldnt really make sense to give him so much range since he has stand hk to do mid range damage, a kinda fast close up overhead, cr shorts/cr hk into super. anymore range and he might as well be kicking or throwing fire balls. maybe if he did more damage when he got in and had that cross up then it would equal out.

Dudley would be god tier if he could link f+rh to s.rh. Its like having the miuxp game he has with super, ALL THE TIME. f+rh, s.rh xx ex mgb–peace out… Not to mention f+rh, s.rh would give you ex meter to begin with. And he does tons of damage haha. Crossup…plz…
yea thats why i say give him the ability to link st hk after because it will lead to ex machine gun blow. it makes dudley’s overhead much more useful because of damage potential, giving him an added reward to being in close to use it.
i dont think dudley should have a fast long reach low poke because it defeats the fact that he’s a character who does pretty decent damage from being up close already.
Err. There’s nothing wrong with Dudley right now. He’s a fucking GREAT character.
The only characters that really need anything are the low-lows, Twelve/Sean/Q/Remy. Even Hugo’s pretty damn good.

I find it strange that alot of characters strength just comes purely from super meter, how much they’ve got for EX, how quickly it charges and how many levels they get.
Too bad Capcom can’t release patches (as would be released for a computer game) fixing these balance problems. The top tier also needs work.
More playtesting before release wouldn’t hurt, either.
