Whoever has the big brackets, hit me up. I have almost everything from the first day, but since I had to leave at 9 on Sunday, I didn’t get any of those.
Good shit to everyone at FRX. Getting there and back was hectic but the event itself was great. 100+ people for 3S is way too good. MD/VA was also too good. It came down to like nothing but MD/VA players in the losers bracket at one point and the big 4 holding down winners. Good shit to Flash for placing well and Exo for coming back after getting fucked up.
Can’t say I placed as high as I wanted but I got the bare minimum which was top 10. Problem was majority of losers bracket was MD/VA and if I asked for someone else it would have just been Justin/Combo or someone else from MD/VA. We’d have to eliminate each other one way or another and I decided to look at MD/VA as a whole as opposed to my own personal goal. Shinshay knocked me out convincingly since he’s probably the most used to my play style of anyone at C3. I’m starting to understand the way he plays though now after watching his other fights and will try to incorporate that into my next set with him.
Good shit to all the Ibuki players that came out like. Yeah Dood, Sora, Xero…you guys are mad cool and it’s good to see the ninjas out in full force. Keep reppin that shinobi shit and hopefully see ya’ll again at another major. Team Hobos and Ninjas 4 Life! Oh and good shit to America’s Best Q for being the best Q evar. Even in real life.
The event overall was what I expected. Just the right amount of gaming and drama to keep things interesting. I had sooo much damned WAFFLE HOUSE that I actually got tired of the shit. Good cheap eats tho. Tofu House was pretty bangin too actually. They got beef too. Mexican restaurant was cool and that one waitress was too cute. Had no idea what she was saying (had a hard mexican accent) but I just said yeah to everything she said.
Good shit to SNK players for representing their games. Roski controlled KOFXI and Sie Clayton took NGBC. Dark Geese IMO probably has the most passion for SNK games that I’ve ever seen out of anyone. Maybe even fighting games in general. He’s like KO Fiend on another level of passion. He has the best game faces ever. Very extroverted personality and I think that’s good that he’s open about trying to get people to play SNK. Seemed like he was too busy to really accomplish everything he was trying to do but it was good to see all the SNK games being played.
Until next year guys. MD/VA = 9 people combined to form Captain Planet!
Thanks Larry and EMS for a great event.
Congrats to all the winners/placers. Good shit, NC…
Very impresive play Justin.
Im looking forward to playing you at EVO on ST.
Tattoo Assassins=godlike?? Hahaha I think me and My Modded XBOX had something to do with that no??
You gotta love the ice skating girl and Billy Two Moons!!!
DevilJin01-Thanks a lot for the compliments man I am really trying to get this thing going and I wanna be the best in everything SNK and it hurts when you get real close in NGBC (4th) and in Money Matches and lose 4-3 and miss getting top 3 in NGBC so yeah I am supremely passionate about what I do this is me indeed. You surely got some skill man it was a pleasure playing against you in NeoWave and having you come play against us etc. Time constraints with KOFXI and other factors prevented things from running as quickly as I wanted them to but that’s okay that gives me room to reflect and improve on and I enjoy that opportunity for the next tournament.
I will be back next year with more ideas and ways to top this tourney by far!

It isn’t that easy to stray away from your main character, especially when there’s a lot on the line more times than not players will go out with their main rather than doing the right thing. Props to all the placers, especially that biatch Fiend.
if you scaryied
say you scaryied
Hmm, there ain’t no rule to counter picking in the States. Sounds like you’re just hating.
