Hey all, I just got my Squall to level 100 last night (was distracted for a bit by Soul Calibur), and I’m ready to start the great grind for endgame equipment. What should I start grinding for, and what’s the fastest way to get it? (I presume the Duel Colosseum is involved.)
Here’s my current crappy gear:
Falchion
Diamond Cuff
Rubicante’s Cowl
Survival Vest
Any advice on support abilities and accessories would be nice as well; my accessories at the moment are really confused.
Also, can Heel Crush -> dodge cancel -> Aerial Circle combo off either wall crush or ground slam? If so, which way should I dodge to space properly?
I am no squall expert, but you should start grinding to get at least the adamant armor set and squall’s final weapon.
Other equipments would be the Genji set, but that can wait. Also, if you haven’t done it already, get 10 accessory slots and work on an EX build for Squall to make the grinding and item collecting a lot faster and effective, his EX mode is really good.
For EX Mode Build just have
Gravitorb(+3m Ex force intake)
Pearl Necklace(+30% ex force absorption)
Gold Hourglass(+20% Ex Mode duration)
some 1.5x boosters like HP = 100%, Unused/Used summon(You), Unused/Used summon(Opponent), EX Mode(1.3x boosters, but can equip 2), and something else that fits your style
Close To You(Can grab Ex force while attacking, taking damage, and during a summon)
Ex build works with Terra, too, for the person asking about accessories for her. She can create a lot of EX force with blizzard combo.
well im using tidus in this game. I havent touched it in a while but looking to dust it off. I believe tidus is at 65 or something like that. What moves should i have set for him. I notice he is basded of countering which is almost all my moves are…
From what I can tell, Tidus should at least have Hop Step, Full Slide, one of the blitzball moves (preference), and after that it’s mostly personal preference for your other BRV attacks (priority to things that chain to HP). For HP, most of your HP damage is going to come from BP -> HP chains but you’ll probably want to have Energy Rain for easier HP punishes and some situational combos; Jecht Shot is good as well, Spiral Cut is very situational/mind-game-ish (ie. risky guard crush).
EX builds are hilarious. Almost as hilarious as regen builds.
Yes, EX builds are cool, fun, and all that… but their huge weakness is that they can’t EX-burst, so you must be extra careful when running around in EX mode.
My favorite builds have to be attack raising builds. Just equipping red gems etc. without relying on boosters. :s
people are saying it looks like a fake (like the fake scans that showed Lightning from FFXIII being in a Dissidia game) so I wouldn’t get too hype until an official announcement is made
If they ever decide to make a Dissidia too I think they should make it for PS3 as well as PSP. They would mosty definitely see more money from it. I just don’t really see too many people playing handhelds anymore. I remember back when I was a child, just about everyone had a Gameboy and a select few had a game gear.
