I would like to see a timer or some other anti-stalling mechanic in Dissidia 2. Honestly I think the first game was ALREADY a better fighting game than Smash ever was, but you would kinda have to lawyerball it given that runaway wasn’t subject to any kind of time/momentum limitation. Coward’s Punishment or whatever it was called was a good start, but was too easy to evade by just spamming buttons behind cover.
Too bad it’s on PSP again, I would have liked to have seen a “full-size” Dissidia sequel.
As for characters I would really like to see…honestly I’d like to see Celes from FFVI. Freeze bitches with Blizaga, use Runic and say with pride “Fuck your magic, it’s totally going into my sword.” Plus, she’d presumably have her cape. Cape + flight is god tier.
Auto-buy if they put in T.G. Cid. Holy Explosion all day, every day.
yuna is probable, since she was one of the mains, and if kain is a proof of what it comes, the there is a good chance that we will see more deuteragonists on Dissidia Sequel
As far as Atlus is likely concerned, their main (or rather, ONLY, at this point) fighting game brand is still the Gouketsuji/Power Instinct series. And frankly, MegaTen is fine the way it is, without necessarily having a fighting game spin-off. We NEED a Groove On Fight sequel, on the other hand! :lol:
Yuna would also be pretty hype depending on what they do with her. They could do FFX Yuna and you could summon huge monsters to run around and beat on people (or perhaps as some kind of Stand-like stance), or if they do FFX2 Yuna you could, uh…play dress-up? All over a motherfucker’s face? Then again they already have Bartz/Onion Knight/Cecil for the “I CAN’T DECIDE WHAT CLASS I AM” mechanic, so maybe not.
