I was sort of hoping that the relative success of Persona 3 FES would perhaps persuade Square that there was money in releasing those remakes in full English but all we got was the Chain of Memories remake that didn’t get a European release ;_;
I want to play this game, but unfortunately, I don’t have a PSP and probably won’t be getting one anytime soon. I thought hey should have made one for the longest, They should also release a PS2 or a PSN version.
so is this game even any good? Are there any tounament level battles on youtube?
Looks like there is a demo out on PSN now. Sadly I cant try it yet, getting the game with the system bundle here.
yeah buddy of mine has the demo. But so far there really is nothing there in terms of gameplay.

Yeah, I’m looking forward to this just a bit. Plus it releases on my birthday which is awesome.
I am really interested in seeing how the combat feels. I imagine something kind of like “aerial Soul Calibur”. Probably because I see Cloud playing like Seig, Zidane like Taki, etc. only in the air. With any luck, that made sense to someone other than me :lol:
Will there be any kind of scene for this game? I plan on picking up the bundle.
You can already see pretty much everything about the game. There are a lot of videos, and if you go back a little in the thread you can see posts by people who played/are playing the JP version.
Somebody’s trying to stir one up, but given the platform and complete lack of online play outside of a tunneling program, it’s doubtful the ‘scene’ will get much bigger than it is.
It’s a fun game, so something to look forward to; but there isn’t likely gonna be much comp.
Playing the demo right now. It’s a lot of fun! Very different and flashy.

So about Terra… Apparently she was really awesome in Dissidia or something? When I played with her I thought she was fucking awful, yet some dudes on another forum swear blind she’s great. Anyone able to tell me what I’m missing?
How do you do this? Is there any lag?
You can play Dissidia through ad hoc party on the PS3.
X-Link Kai is the tunneling program in question. You basically have to have two connections to the internet; a wireless and another wireless or a wireless and a wired. The idea is to have the PSP’s connection hijack the wireless to play someone online.
I’ve not done this with Dissidia to a successful degree because apparently Dissidia is special and requires workarounds for X-Link Kai but on other games like Phantasy Star Portable I have had good experiences with minimal input lag. And to think, I was using a wireless connection!
Ad-Hoc party is the other choice, but you need both a PS3 and LAN connection (The PS3 uses its own wireless for the PSP’s connection). Also, that’s only available in Japan’s PSN store, so you need to go through a ‘process’ for that.
PSP multiplayer is such a PITA @_@.
