FF11 is one of the worst games ever made and I really didn’t want any reminder of it here. Still… kicking the crap out of Sephiroth with an adorable midget is appealing. Needs more Ramza and Delita, though.

Well… as an FFXI fan, I’m really excited about it. Never really had a strong interest in Dissidia but now that I saw this… My PSP is gonna explode from Lady Shantotto’s Rage. @_@

The only thing funny is that people pay real money to play it. If I wanted a second job I’d find one that pays ME.

Also, it should be impossible for her to solo any other character, just to rub FF11 players’ faces in the fact that their forced grouping game is a piece of garbage.

actually, FF11’s populace are more powerful than any of the other FF worlds,
the common mobs are boss-class enemies. and the notorious monsters are super bosses, and even then, some capped jobs can solo lots of things. **
so it’s not a matter of heroes being weaker, is a matter of the villains being so
much stronger in FFXI’s universe.
but yeah, I do disagree with some things in FF11, they shouldn’t make drop rates so frustrating. but even then I wouldn’t trade it to play any of the other FFs again.
if FFXII is represented in Dissidia, anyone who knows the story would
agree Ashe and Vayne would be the best choices.
as for FFXIII, it wouldn’t make sense unless they either spoil who the
main villain is before the game even comes out, or spoil Lightning’s
abilities/attacks. I dunno, it’s just too awkward to add people from
a FF that people haven’t experienced yet.

I was talking with a few people about the odds of there being a hero and villain for Final Fantasy X-2. No chance in hell, although I would actually like to see gunner Yuna and Shuyin in this.

Sadly, despite it having very few merits and a metric fuckton of flaws, despite not one person being able to argue it as a reasonable and enjoyable game compared to ANY OTHER GAME, the Japanese love FF11. Then again, they also love FF7 Advent Children and Michael Bay’s Transformers. What do you do.

Gotta admit, the tarutaru chick is winning me over. FF11 origins aside, she kinda makes up for not having Mog in the game. Again, beating up Sephiroth with a cute little midget is very appealing.
Ah! I had forgotten about the fact that there are hidden files on the website for XI and XII. So this ramps up the speculation for XII characters (but no love for FFT).
Calling it now: Either Vaan and Gabranth, or Ashe and Vayne (the latter makes more sense, but since they seem to be going with “main characters”, the former could also happen). I would prefer Balthier and Cid, but I can’t see that happening.
