That could be interesting. Maybe Doom manipulated Wesker to feed the Capcom world to Galactus.
But Galactus isn’t from “another such World” and he’s not really evil. Attacking other dimensions isn’t his thing either.
Also, vs game bosses need 3 stages.
The 3 stages could be fighting Wesker, who gets betrayed by Doom. Then you fight Doom. After defeating Doom, you must stop Galactus by defeating him.
They’d all have to be powered up versions then, which I doubt. To fit the trend it has to be someone who becomes more powerful themselves.
I’m still betting Dormammu tho for at least part of it. Don’t his power-ups just SCREAM 'we had to put a limit on this move to make him a playable character?" Spamming meteors and ground sticks would be something a Marvel Boss should be able to do.
Also he can get bigger for a transformation.
Definitely. Dormammu is no doubt limited to be playable. I thought he was it at first, but all the hints so far have been pointing elsewhere.
Except Niitsuma saying ‘we’re treating him as the boss’, altho’ I guess that could actually go either way. Stupid languages.
I’m starting to think it Might be Mikaboshi from the Chaos War Event.
Yeah I just read the first issue of Chaos War today and I’m inclined to agree. I’d be hard pressed to think of another likely character on that scale that would be higher than Dormammu.
All three of them wouldn’t necessarily have to be powered up. Like you said, it would fit the VS trend for sure. But there used to be a day when bosses were regular characters with annoying ass AI. And have they said which world the game is taking place in? did capcom come to marvel? Vice versa? Or is it half n half. I highly doubt Doom would lure Galactus to devour the world. That isn’t his steez at all. Doom wants the world for himself. Idk what Wesker wants, but that fool throws missiles… so he’ll probably get it w/e it is
Maybe Doom was luring him to eat Capcom’s world to divert him from eating the Marvel’s Earth.
That could work. Thats why i was asking which realm the game is taking place in. I think Doom just wants the one he’s from
Unfortunately Dormammu wants 'em all, he’s running out of marbles >>
I’m thinking it’ll be a world mash-up, similar to MK vs DCU. It would explain why you would fight on all the different stages, unless the story mode has stages built specifically for it.
Iono. It’d be cool if it was someone brand new, plus one capcom and one marvel. Like, Gill for Capcom, some other God person, mebbe Dormammu tho, for Mahvel, and someone new.
Reviving this thread and reiterating my disbelief that people actually thought Dormammu was going to be the final boss.
Shoryuken - Marvel vs Capcom 3 Developer’s Blog - Dormammu Not the Final Boss
Meanwhile, Shuma Gorath is just all like “hi guys, what’s going on here?”
Since shuma’s in the game, we have to assume it’s someone much more powerful than mephisto anyway.
Shuma’s DLC so I guess he dodges the story line complications. Dormammu however doesn’t.
Maybe this producer guy is trolling to compensate for having to reveal Dormammu as playable early? That way we’d still be speculating until release. Although that would only result in disappointment when people find out it’s Dorm again  Maybe not…
If he thought it was rude leading us on about Dorm being the final boss, I wonder how he feels lying to us that he isn’t.
Being DLC doesn’t mean they can’t be involved. =/
ABRAXES
Him being thd final boss explains why all the worlds heroes & villians are coming together.
Also Dr Doom & Albert Wesker wish to shape the worlds how they see fit. I imagine the only way they can do that is with the “Ultimate Nullifier”
"The Ultimate Nullifier has been described as "the universe’s most devastating weapon.“As such, the Ultimate Nullifier has the ability to completely eliminate any target the wielder chooses, along with the user if his or her mind is not focused enough. In the hands of a being with an extremely powerful mind the Ultimate Nullifier can destroy (or in conjunction recreate) entire time-lines from beginning to end”
