I’m really really surprised nobody’s make a Paste Pot Pete joke yet.
Hit Monkey would put the fear in my heart. I’d just turn the game off after beating the 2nd to last character.
Silver Surfer as the final boss!
That fight would last about as long as all 30 seconds of the final fight in IM2.
Let’s go with FIN FANG FOOM!!
This game needs to have some epic Fin Fang Foom vs. Hauzer action.
I approve of this message.
Hmm, it seems that over the weekend, Marvel just announced that a certain big bad who just also happened to have been a boss in a previous Marvel vs. game would be coming back and be “unleashed” in a big way. I mean, sure, he’s already been used, but personally, I wouldn’t mind beholding his mighty hand in HD (as well as hearing cSN4aygV0aI&feature=related"]these again).
He would make an awesome mid boss at least.
Could be him it could also Apocalypse or Thanos
I think Apoc or Thanos are more likely than Onslaught. Onslaught comic wise is more of a one hit wonder. Thanos on the other hand is still making a ruckus.
And let’s not forget that the new Uncanny X-Force starts off with them heading in to assassinate Apocalypse.
Edit: Whats the code for those little spoiler boxes?
seth killians beard can beat squirrel girl
Sentinel
Onslaught has an event coming up this coming Feb as was announced in the Avengers panel at Comicon. Plus his story fits in nicely since he’s been trapped in another dimension (the Negative Zone) ever since the events of Onslaught Reborn.
Good point I didn’t know about him coming back til you just mentioned it. Had to go look it up lol. It would fit in with the mvc story pretty smoothly.
Canon power level actually matters for the end boss (for story reasons), and Dormammu still blows everyone people are proposing out of the water that way.
Only people I’ve dern mentioned that are ‘big’ enough are Jedah and Shuma-Gorath, and we know its neither of those 2
Didn’t they say that the plot revolved aroumd Doom and Wesker forming a team of super-villains to take over both dimensions? I would have thought the final boss would be a powered up version of Doom or something.
Where did you hear this btw?
Honestly I don’t see how Dormammu is even playable without some sort of handicap canon wise. I haven’t read too much into the storyline of the game yet, but I would assume he’s nowhere near full power. He’d have to be inhabiting some weaker form to be able to fit in.
I could see the story playing out somewhere along the lines of Doom and Wesker broke something in the interdimensional fabric somehow and the problem at hand is keeping Dormammu from fully entering the world. Some other villain could be at play and be the one trying to bring Dormammu in, thus becoming the final boss himself.
If you ask me, since there’s an actual crossover storyline in this game, Capcom might pull a MK vs DC and have the final boss be some monster that represents both factions at once. Like…a Doombot that’s been merged with a Tyrant from Resident Evil. They could call it the Tyrant…of DOOM.
…nah. Realistically, it’ll probably be Galactus. Since, the storyline hints that Wesker is “a villain from another such world”. Galactus is a being that kills and eats entire worlds to survive, and every VS. game needs some big, giant boss. So, you can’t go wrong with Galactus.
