but srsly if Dormmy is 'helping" the final boss, wouldn’t it make sense for it to be MEPHISTO? helping mephisto is basically dormmy’s JOB anyway…
I wouldn’t bet on Mephisto. He’s not really a combat type. Same reason I don’t really see much chance of Loki making an appearance.

Actually Dormammu is stronger than mephisto, so it wouldn’t make sense for him to work for mephisto in the game
I still don’t understand that phrase of Niitsuma about Dormammu and the last boss.
Maybe it’s going to be one trio of villains (Dormammu, Dr. Doom and Super Skrull).
Maybe Doom summoned Dormammu to possess Squirrel Girl?
3 levels of that first it is Doom then is Dormammu then the possessed Squirrel Girl.
And you can’t beat Squirrel Girl, even on Easiest difficulty. She always wins. The AI is programmed to be able to avoid all of your attacks and max punish everything.
To be a killjoy, the NYCC banners make Dorm look like the big Badguy again.
also, doom is probably fighting against the main villian either way 
Boss will be Goldibus. And Bios. And the Inbetweener. In a dramatic battle.
Actually it’d be cool if, should you beat the last boss under certain circumstances 0-Akuma from Cyberbots kills him and you have to fight him.
