Ya think DLC characters will get a story? Who’s more powerful than Shuma? Guys like Galactus and Mephisto aren’t even blips on his radar. Then again, maybe I’m trying to introduce more logic to the story than the writers :lol:. I wouldn’t be surpised if we had to pretend that Galactus was a threat to the likes of Dorm and Shuma. I mean Thanos took precedence over Shuma in MSH, but then again maybe infinity gauntlet Thanos would be able to beat ol’ Tentacles…

hell yea thanos(with/without the gauntlet) is stronger than shuma and i think he would be able to beat him even in his own dimensional (not so with dormmamu)

Well yeah, I specifically said writer probably won’t be concerned too much about making sense, but video game logic usually dictates the big final baddie is the strongest baddie. It was never going to be Doom or Skrull was it? It’s usually guys like Onslaught and Thanos. Besides, they’ve blown their trumpet a fair bit about the story.
You know what? I’m betting it’s Dorm + Capcom villain. Or a hybrid rep.
I’m going with the Beyonder as the final boss. He has massive reality warping powers that make him near omnipotent. He’s no stranger to gathering a group of people and making them fight for no reason for his own gratification. It wouldn’t surprise me if the game’s plot is just another Secret War
What exactly sets characters like Beyonder, Galac, living tribunal aside from Shuma and Dormammu anyway? They’re all pretty cosmic and they can all do some really scary stuff. Shuma made a voodoo doll of the earth and anything he did to it effected the real earth, and while Dormammu is supposedly weaker than Shuma, he does a lot of similarly ridiculous stuff, so I get the feeling that all of those top tier ‘evil god’ marvel characters are somewhere on the same playing field…then again I don’t know much about those other guys. Someone enlighten me? What’s the difference between all these reality-warping people and what makes some stronger than others?

I think it would be fair to have a Marvel/Capcom boss. I never quite understood Marvel always getting dibs on the final boss Capcom has had some massive designs over the years.
Or I mean…it wouldnt kill to have several unplayable bosses sub-bosses. I’d enjoy that.

Cyber Akuma was a pretty cool original Capcom boss. I’m surprised Capcom never had a boss that wasn’t original.
