Well earlier a couple post ahead, he responded with your idea of Cl.st.mk by forgetting it and having Cl.st.hk become a command normal instead. I find weird how he was opposed to that idea earlier on, then suddenly support what he was against. By the way agreed on Street11.

I really want the backthrow to ultra ability gone and in exchange capcom should give us something more viable to work with. Plus lets be honest its a cheap way to get an ultra even if its easy to tech. Id rather have something more respectable and viable. That may just be me though.

I agree with that too. A backthrow like this is very difficult to balance. Though I typically uses it mostly for punish then for random grabbing.

What are we going to have to replace it with though? I mean, obviously we on’t get a reversal. Then what? Command throw? Teleport? I dunno.

Guy is -2 or -1 on run stop. 3 frame normal you can use at will instead of when he fucks up a run stop and stops next to you will allow you relieve the pressure. cl.st.mk xx lp palm will give you breathing room at the least.

Full Juggle on super is just so saving the super becomes an actual strategy. 3 frame super is not enough to warrant saving it.

i’m probably not fast enough to react to run stop and press a normal and time it right, i can mash jab and stop him if i played a shoto or boxer but watching for the run stop and the counter hit setups, tick throws and the flips etc melts my brain lol.

Ono just tweeted this 45 minutes ago I think perhaps sooner but it seems the next list of changes they show us will be the last and FINAL. This will be it for the old man im guessing. Honestly, cl.MK as a command normal is probably the best thing they could give him. 3f punisher that doesn’t have to be used up close, a possible counter to focus fishers in f+MK xx LP senku (remember, cl.MK moves Gouken forward), as well as giving him a hitconfirm from jabs (Potentially also a combo like cl.MP, s.MP, f+MK xx LP/MP palm). That, and giving all tatsus the same locking property as EX tatsu, and fixing kongos and EX senku so that they work properly.

He’d be fine after that.

Id be pretty happy with those changes and its not asking for too much either. Either way we will see what they bring to the table soon I hope with the LAST changes.
