There are absolutely no way those leak are real, if those are real, combines with all the buff we have got, this character would have the biggest buff of the entire fighting game history. Nobody gotten this many buff before, and it won’t be Gouken.

We would just plink it also and make it 2 frames. Yea I don’t think capcom is going give us the ability to do that. Unless they made close standing mk 4 frames and that would mean we could not combo from cr jab anymore thus getting rid of that hit confirm for balance.

New to the list but does the charge for the denjin start as soon as you do the motion to start the ultra or when he has the hado? if it starts when you do the motion for the denjin then it will be stun for alot of the cast. j. hp to stand hp to ex palm fadc denjin i think you get 800+ stun just for that. another thing i noticed is the jump into down mk for the dive kick it will get you a quicker throw time vs the demon. also the air med punch even if it hit twice you can land the weak tasu if you get the juggle high enough and you can use the ex tasu also you will get seven hit if done at the right time this has to be done the second you touch the ground in the game now no one does this but me that i have seen aventador71 xbox live … my wish for gouken change was for the parry to do chip damage and hit stun just a little and would have like to see wp+wk for ex hadoken straight… mp+mk for ex mid air and hp+hk for ex high air and leave the two punch buttons the same

Yes command dive kick has less hit and block stun. Easier for tick throws, harder to combo.
j.mp any tatsu is pretty much a waste. First of all, you need to be able to whiff the first hit of the tatsu which is the most damaging. So for LK you are talking 60 extra damage when you could instead follow up with dj.HK for 100 more damage. For EX tatsu you are talking 20 extra damage for a bar 180 vs 200. If you cancel the first hit of dj.mp into HK tatsu you get 190 damage.
Not sure what you are talking about with the parry either, are you saying you wished it did chip if someone blocks it? You can’t block it. The explosion is unblockable. Are you instead asking for us to take chip damage instead of grey damage? Again, no thanks. You don’t take any damage after a successful parry as it explodes and knocks people away giving the grey damage time to recover, meanwhile you get the Ultra meter gain…
The idea for fireballs has been said already but I guess you were the first to have four different versions. It would be better and cleaner to do LP+MP, MP+HP, LP+HP, and all 3 punches.
well now its november! That means i will be buying elder scrolls Skyrim and MW3 and UMVC3. Thinking of putting Street fighter 4 down till december 13th. However I will still be on edge for the final change list we will receive near the end of this month.

Reipin Pillage would be wrong I just did the combo and it is 820 stun on Sagot and Akuma you get 520 alone without the denjin and also im not talking about doing the tasu in the air with the med punch . if you land the med punch in the air with the right timing you can hit the ground and do the tasu and get multiple hit even if you get two hits… need to check your facts before tell me i’m wrong I have played gouken since I unlocked him. I know my gouken play may not be the best player but I know his moves inside and out

Although Reipin didn’t say you can’t j.mp land and do tatsu, he just said it isn’t worth it.
Due to it’s timing, less dmg and ability to fling opponents out.
I’m sure he didn’t mean to blatently say your wrong, he just didn’t understand your qualms about parry, and gave his opinions on other points.

I admit I’m wrong on the stun for the Denjin. Come 2012 you should be able to stun Akuma with that combo since the fireball will fly faster allowing you to charge longer.
As Black-toof said, I didn’t say you CAN’T do 2 hit j.mp into the second through last hit of EX tatsu or LK tatsu (other tatsus are too slow and the first hit of all Tatsu’s will not juggle off a 2 hit j.mp) I said it was a waste. If you think it’s a good idea to even risk that when there are simpler, less risky and more damaging options, that’s your business.
First hit of Tatsu does not juggle off of a 2 hit j.mp because 2 hit j.mp gives a juggle point of 1, since the first hit of any tatsu is JP0 it won’t hit. The second hit of any tatsu is JP1 so it WILL juggle and so will each subsequent hit (due to increasing JPs) assuming the shitatsu doesn’t drop the opponent and get you punished.
Now what I said is, doing that is worthless. LK tatsu does 120 damage and the first hit does 60 damage I believe. Since the first hit won’t land you get 60 extra damage. That is 80 + 60 =140 damage.
If you wasted an EX bar to do EX tatsu you got 120 extra damage. So 80+120 = 200 damage (and an EX bar).
There is a reason you only see yourself doing this, and it isn’t cause no one here knew about it.
A better idea is to do dj.hk for 100 extra damage. 80+100 = 180. No tricky timing required and you get 40 more damage then you would get from LK tatsu and only 20 less damage then EX tatsu BUT you keep the bar. I think everyone on this forum (minus you perhaps) will agree that wasting an EX bar on 20 extra damage is a waste. (Redundancy for the win!)
I also misspoke on the dj.mp 1 hit into tatsu, it is 170 for HK tatsu and 190 for EX but you can get that off a backwards jump, which you can’t get added damage off of unless you cancel to the tatsu since you will be too far away when you land.
You still haven’t explained your parry statement.
EDIT: Black-Toof - yes, intended. Stems from playing Everquest way back in 99. Played a Shadow Knight on a PvP server. Coming from starcraft people would always say “you got raped” when beaten badly or whatever, I just took that and made it the old cliche. Stuck with it all this time basically.

On the parry thing. Is what I was trying to say us the parry for gouken works different that the old school. Old school didn’t hit them it just stopped you from being hit. His hits them thus it is a hit but they don’t count it as a hit if they just stand there and don’t enter a attack. This should. They should have to block this move also. When some of the cast now has moves that are safe on block and they do chip damage right? If they jump in safe and you parry they get a free combo this would not be if they had to block it
@ matt :the general idea of a counter move is that an initial attack has to occur 1st ( applies to real life and this game)

@ Quattro; I know what you are saying. The kongo is a guess move though and it a special it does no chip damage but yet it requires you to do the same motion as DP or whatever. 99 percent of these moves do chip damage on block so they are not a guess most of the time. Take Sakura her ex DP it hits 7 times I believe now if I were playing as her and other person was almost OK 'D and I was close I would do this move because of the chip damage. Gouken has no such move that why most people dont play him. All his specials lose to shoryuken type moves except the kongo and they know this. So when it down to the wire you ether run and spam hado’s or guess on the kongo and they just dont do nothing wait for it and free hit time. Take YUN and Yang ex lung punch or shoulder(that you cant counter by the way) or that damn kick that they can do flat on there backs(that dont apply to real life). MY point of saying this was this would solve his wakeup game. They gave ONI a DP and a move like his that hit you from behind and the rest of the crap (S tier) players get wont even go there that have moves safe on block that you cant counter.>:(
