I’ve experienced this as well. It seems to happen when you super them in in the corner and immediately move over to do the follow up. It moves the screen over which therefore the opponent never reaches the wall to bounce.
That’s my theory on the why and how. Might need further testing to confirm.
Edit: The super may have to be low to the ground to recreate this. (Ie. ending with s.hk, hairball, Gregor Samson)
I seriously need to play post patch Fillia, it just looks too awesome. I’m so glad I didnt end up dropping her before like I thought I would because even prepatch I think she is FAR better than what people seem to think on SRK. She’s easily become my favorite character to play.
Also I think she may actually be a good solo character-- as in it may not just be Mike Z. Her movement options make it reasonable for her to deal with keep out and bait assists in my experiences. Folks need to use more airball and and slide
^Filia will always be my main. I will be a character loyalist and always use her. If there is even a SG2 in the very far future, I will most likely be using her as well.
she can dash cancel the air hairball. airball loops anyone?
nothing huge but maybe like 3.
even though they can burst if they have the meter. dunno if burst for repeated is new or not. seems like a new thing.

unrelated but I’m pretty sure you and I play the exact same characters in every game ever lol

Don’t blame ya, great minds think alike, lol. Tell me your games and characters. o/
Include OG games like: GG, Garou, KOF98 and we’re good. j/k (will be though)[/quote]
That’s what I thought, but apparently one can only get one airball per jump. At least the second 214K always only gives me a j.K (maybe I’m doing it wrong, but I doubt).
Now that finals are done, my local friend can play SG (pre-patch) with me again! That being said, do you guys have a way to get in on/punish Val’s s.HK chain? The only solution I’ve come up with on block is to push-block and get back to neutral game. But I want something that will teach him not to use that move every 3 seconds. I’m especially salty because if I continue my blockstring to a heavy attack he gets a grab into a full combo.
He also uses it as an anti-air… I know enough to block it when I come in but it just continues to the last hit with no opportunity to punish. I know I can probably use an assist to interrupt the attack, but I don’t want to build a team around beating one move…
