Didnāt actually finish the tourney. Iām thinking we have a tournament spanned over multiple days (online) so everyone can play on a schedule that works for themā¦

No seriously though, there were shitloads of inputs being dropped left and right, Laugh will back me up on this. Leeās palm blast wasnāt coming out, and at one point I couldnāt even do Leeās fast rush. Itās just qcf, b + P, itās not like itās a hard motion or anythingā¦ but I remember getting regular rush instead of fast rush like 4 times in a row. Really weird stuff was going on and I played like shit. I tend to get pretty mad when I lose to shit thatās not my fault, so I kinda stormed off after losing to krost and went back to the SF4/STHD semi-final area. Itās probably my fault that the tournament never got concluded because I was holding things up, but I didnāt expect to do as well as I did in SF4/STHD and I didnāt want to wander off too far and end up getting DQāed because I was hanging out around a side tournament in which I couldnāt do moves. Sorry guys.

Anyway ill post a couple of my opinions on a few matchs mizo wiseā¦
vs Ray 4-6
I think ray beats mizo. But not badly. I think if not for the fact I take human error into account, and ease of use factor it could be as close as 4.5-5.5 But I think ray being easier to use is a factorā¦
Anyway basic things that to take into account for the match are(at least from mizo stand point)ā¦ Random shit not in orderā¦
Duck lk beats most of rays moves from realistic distances. And also beats rays questionable sweep. So important to use.
Duck jab. Same use as duck lk, with difference that it will hit rays dizzy spot in many realistic situations where it would hit in the first place. HOWEVER it does lose to sweep. So you gotta pick and choose. But both are pretty powerful from reasonable distances to be annoying. They counter his tackle of course as well. Again though you need the duck k though as it beats his sweep to discourage him whoring this.
stand jab is not the invincibleish force field it is in some other matchs. But it does beat wheel kick from a distance you might be mashing on it in the first place.
Stand fierce also beats wheel kick with a pretty good ratio. But harder to find realistic distances seniros where you might be using it.
Duck fierce I think is probably best counter to wheel kick. And it scores you a counter hit to ray. So canceling that to fireball so he lands back in it to restart your offense.(Though of course with mizo fireball recovery this isā¦)
I think though in general your going to be ducking most of this match. Only time you are standing is when you are being comboed. Its the best way to protect your dizzy spot as well. The only reason you wouldnt stand during a combo is if you thought the ray might wheel kick during a combo. Although ray protects his dizzy spot even better. Ray only reason has to hold down the whole time he is being comboed as you have no move that will hit his dizzy spot then that I can think of other then the usual blue shoryuken which by passes these type shenanigans as usual. (I should note air hurricane kick also bypasses this as well butā¦)
So saying this, this makes it even more crucial that you do whore your good pokes, and counter attacks. Again remembering that duck jab stops almost all of rays moves but sweep(Which wiff on LK hopefully discourages him from)and when it is beating a move most likely hitting his dizzy spot, duck fierce hitting his chest as well when countering wheel kick, and if you can land a fierce elbow countering a charge or something of that sort.
So in short, from just a pure combo stand point, you shouldnt expect to dizzy ray. But countering attacking wise its pretty plausible for you to get a dizzy to killā¦
Or it should beā¦ Butā¦ ray along with lee, clown, and chinese girl are the only characters that can duck mizos big combos. Basically your stuck to double hurricane kick combo to elbow, or the double hurricane kick to blue shoryuken. Which of course are fairly strict combos in there own right.
So there you goā¦ Again I dont think its horrible for mizo. But again, I think ray is easier(well arguably easiest character in the game), and even when mizo does counter everything correctly his instant kill combos do not work on ray, which is troublesome.
VS clownā¦

This match is badā¦ If not for the fact that clown can duck mizos combos, and granted mizo instant kill combo is fairly strict in the first place I might rate this as high as 7.5.-2.5. (then again once a match hits 7-3 im not even sure if there is a difference between 7.5 and a 8. Its rape. shrug)Its at least probably arguably countering charactering clown.
Mizo just has a lot to stop clown. I dont think there is any attack clown can jump in with that mizo can not beat with some attack. And lp dp is very hard for clown to counter for what your doing. Again this match would be worse but clowns only saving grace is at least when he gets dizzy, mizo can not kill him in one combo. And of course regularly wise mizos combos clown can duck to get out of some of them and when the match starts clown isnt in the corner yet.
Yes I considering the when the match starts being one of clowns advantages. Because well, when there neutral I think clown beats mizo actaully. Its pretty hard for mizo to get in. As mizo cant keep up fireball game wise. And gets anti aired pretty easily.
vs Lee

again I think ease of use comes in to play. Mizo has stand jab/duck jab/duck fierce in this match. Which are all, for what they are very strong vs lee. They sort of form a mini shield for you. Duck jab hits lees dizzy spot, however if YOU are hit your dizzy spot is hit. And that is not a good trade at all. As again lee is one of the characters that your big combo does not work on. So no instant kill combos vs him. Lee can duck to avoid a lot of combos in general and to protect his dizzy spot, however again the old blue shoryuken by passes this , and will score a couple dizzy points here. Also note although lees head hit box is to far away for your big combos to hit. His legs are actaully quite far, and you can hit your close stand lk farther away then normal. This also hits lees dizzy spot no matter what. So probably lean towards using this in your combos more then usual. Also note that your jab dp like in jean match is more prone to hitting his dizzy spot then your fierce which may miss it randomly.
Again your best bet as in most matchs it to stand up while being comboed. Lee will have a harder time dizzying you this way so always be biased towards standing up. Anyway this match isnt very bad ethier, as you have a brain dead strategy vs lee which is very strong for what it is. Unfortunately your strategy does not lead to very much damage. And if you are hit out of it you are way worse off then what you getā¦ Another move to mention might be hit sweep. While trying to be annoying lee can try and use some of his higher priority pokes to discourage you, from well yours, and your random dps. But your sweep wins at that sorta mid distance range vs all his attacks that I can think of. But again this is a ducking move, and its slower so if your hit. Good chance you just almost automaticly lost the matchā¦
Also of course note that player 1 lees unblockable infinite sexual ice bible black combo works on mizo. So if your in the corner, (or if your japanese and can somehow hit it mid screen which ive seen them do on me somehow)then be prepared to put more thought process then you should have to into when you should block and when you should pray and try and dp.
