i started this game a little ways back, and it’s awesome.
great music, great characters, and ryoko’s grab super is awesome. and Miyazuko(i think) has the coolest voice!

I dunno what that 2df is but people should go on GGPO! The lag is pretty good generally from what ive seen.

Anyway yea lets ummm… get some discussion going again. I think for this game you could actually do one of those kiddy/cliche type things for tiers and get a pretty good idea of whats going on in the game, since in general IMO not alot separates a character from being good, or being bad in the game. When I say kiddy I mean one of those say… In old magazines they use to give those shitty things, like this character gets a 3 in power, 4 in defense. Shit like that. But just replace it with say a characters offense, how good there there dizzy spot is(Say mastouris would obviously be a 0 lol),how good a characters combos are with out the dizzy, there defense, and say how good a character is after they have hit the dizzy to kill the person after it.
I think you could rate characters like that and actually get a pretty good feel for the game. Say theres that argument about zazzie being the second best earlier. But zazzies dizzy spot is way worse then say rays. Plus hes really big, so once he does get dizzy finishing him off is way more likely then finishing off ray, who after he gets dizzy really doesnt have to worry about decided where to hold after being combed since in general when he ducks while being hit he gets really small, and most combos wont work on him after that.(well…big ones at least) Also zazzie lacks a bs poke like rays sweep, or lees duck fierce. Obviously zazzie can definitely be pretty over powering but again he does get dizzy fast. And the game is about who gets does whos bs first. so…
Anyway my hands are getting tired… But yea best characters I would say are deff karnov, ray, lee, zazzie. There all pretty close. Though. Each has there own niches, strengths and “weakness”… All be it, some are quite small, say rays only weakness is probably the fact after he lands his dizzy he doenst have that BS combo to finish it like other characters.
There’s a matchup chart somewhere in this thread. But Ray is top #1, then it’s Karnov for sure.
Clown gets dizzy too fast :shake:.
I know…I hate that. Anyone have any ways to avoid getting so easily dizzied with clown?
