That was painful to watch and listen to. I hope BBH or any other good FHD player plays the next time to show people what this game is all about.
Yeah, those matches were downright embarrassing. I probably shouldnāt say this, but SaDo has a better Karnov than Wong.
That other player had no clue what he was doing either. These matches did not represent the level of play found in the Americas (yes, Americas. Counting Argentina and Canada in this equation). Far and away the worst part was the commentary though, which was just an insult to this game
Is the Sega Saturn version of this game a good port?
I have it for the Saturn and it seems similar to the arcade version. Iāll have to try it again to see if the Karnov slide glitch still works. The only things I noticed different were load times and the arranged music.

I decided to play through the Saturn version a bit just now. I tested out Karnovās slide glitch and it works on it. The music is set to MVS as default. If want the arranged music you have to switch it in options. The only load times seem be during the start of the game before the intro starts. During that load time it shows Mizoguchi eating a bowl of food as he gets closer to the screen. I was actually suprised at how many different button layouts it lets you pick from not to mention letting you do your own button layouts. Here are the button layouts by the order they come in:

Then there is also āUser A-Hā as well which lets you pick 8 other different button layout slots you can edit and save.
You can also change your buttons during the game by pressing start to pause, then just press A to go into the button config. Though it only lets you pick button layouts already saved so you canāt config them during the game like in options. After you pick your button layout just press C to leave that window then start to unpause. I also noticed some of the sound effects are slightly different when put on arranged mode as well.

No, it only has Arcade, Versus and Options. In Versus it keeps track of how many wins, loses and draws each character gets as you play. It also lets you switch after each match as well. I think the only way you could get a training mode is using an action replay type cart cheat for it probably.

I wanted to do commentary, but for some reason I couldnāt do it.
I have the replays for the 2 other matches, I can upload them on mediafire and can view them on FBA.
Quality of matches were so-so, I didnāt enter because I was running it, playing CvS2 and STHD. No way I could have been able to play also.
Also hardly any of the people entered knew how to play the game on a serious level. Justin told me that he played it casually with one of his old room mates. Now thinking back on it I should have entered. Not to be conceited or anything but I think me in finals would have been a bit more fun, thanks to all the times Iāve played BBH haha.
I played your Marst semi-recently and you seemed like you are leveling up hardcore. You probably would have won it.

Again, I think itās worth mentioning the only reason this happened is because the good players didnāt even goā¦ The West Coast wasnāt even repped, many online players didnāt play.

And that was the 1st time playing Karnov tooā¦
Never planning on taking this game serious btw soā¦have fun on that.
