Shame they only got Arc and French Bread for that interview. I would have loved to see someone from Capcom, Netherrealm, or Namco explain their philosophy.
Is it true guilty gear is like the last blade? I have not played gg but looking at guilty gear x combos they kind of remind me of last blade combos. the way the hit stop is too but maybe thatâs just me. plus ishiwatari was involved in both as well?
GG and last blade have little to nothing alike. Iâmm not really good at explaning this but their difference in game play and mechanics. For starter GG is much more faster pace, while last blade isnât.
Yeah no, very different. Although Comboâs in Last Blade have a kind of Proto-anime game flowiness to them (at least as far as I can tell from my extremely limited experience with it). But if I remembered correctly, Daisuke Ishiwatari did have some kind of role in the development of Last Blade.
with Nitro + Blaster taking up every ones time, Examu other fighter went on sale. It shame that aqua netcode isn;t as good as n+b B
Aqua pazza is available for psn digital for $10 until the 22nd.
The priority system has to be one of the most stupid system implemented on a FG, why would anyone implement that shit again seeing how fucked up was on 3s is beyond me.
It makes sense in KI because frame data is very different, different button strengths have similar startup and itâs necessary to have good poking normals. In SFV it feels like a lazy failsafe countermeasure because they canât figure out how to make normals work properly and they donât want to give buttons actual frame advantage since that would create links and COMBOS ARE BAD. Some people are hype for it I guess, but it sounds to me like a workaround, which doesnât sound very ensuring.
