Eh, what they think about Fei is really their own perverted idea. I’m just sick of the misinformation that goes around about him. People look at his potential but don’t see his flaws at all, at least not anymore. Back when he was “C-tier,” people rushed to point out his weaknesses. Now those very same people only see strengths. exactly after this whole godsgarden tourney i feel ive gotta level this shit up as Mago is just too far ahead of all other Feis …BUT if only he faced a top Bison/Chun/Guile/Balrog …and he still raped now that is what i would’ve liked to see .

True. Most of his matches in this tourney are 5-5s, with Ryu being a 6-4 Fei, and Viper being a very disputed 6-4 in her favor. I’d love to see Mago against a charge character, if only to see his strategy against them.

I dont think his strategy against charge characters will change much.Mago is very paitent,I am sure he will be willing to stand in lp rekka range and wait with them.
I do, but it’s tough to say at this high of a level; it’s beyond what I’ve seen. Just going by charts right now. 5-5 is where it should stand IMO, but Daigo really let too many FBs slip here.

And this a Match where a really good Fei long stays extremely patient against Bison , picks his spots , punishes well and prevails . But i think it’s really evident that Fei has to work harder than Charge characters to win the match whereas in Godsgarden there was viper/ken/ryu/Dhalsim/Cammy where both characters have to work equally hard to overcome each other .

You know, if you add the scores from Mago v Daigo in the first set to todays set, you come up with 12-5. You may be right as far as how the matches went. I dunno if that’s the end-all, be-all for the Fei v. Ryu match-up though. Daigo played pretty sloppily in many of the matches. Even simpletons who don’t know Fei at least “know” Daigo and sometimes that play didn’t seem like Daigo at all.
Last match first round when Ryu made that SRK when he had the life lead and was 7 seconds on the clock…He had to have cracked because I jumped up and went WTF?!
do any of you guys think Fei still needs any buffs? …just curious lol . we will find out soon anyway no matter what anyone thinks .
Walkspeed buff was the only one I really cared for. A useful ultra would be nice.

TBH I’m still trying to make my Fei better. Having changes made to his game is going to hamper my progress whether it’s a nerf or a buff; both will change what I need to learn and adapt to.
this is kinda what ive been saying all along. i wish they would give the game time to breathe before dumping in more characters and changing all the matchups
This , it just feels like if they change him it would be like adapting to a different character altogether . Whether Buff or Nerf. tbh i think Fei long is actually the most balanced character in the game alongside Ryu , just 5-5’s across the board nothing special nothing out of the ordinary about him .
