I don’t think i’ll ever get there
Not with that attitude!
hahahha can’t seem to do anything right…
maybe a few of you guys would be so kind as to go over to the guile AE changes thread.
there seems to be an idea that fei was favored in console super in that match. some are also thinking that fei might flat out win the match in AE
There was a report of Mago and Kindevu going about 40 games of Feilong vs Yun. The results? Mago 30 over Kindevu 10.
Be like water, my friends.
Excited? Excited!
I’ve been and gave my thoughts on it, and now I need a poo.
EDIT:
Right, who is coming online tonight? I want to play some games and have some fun with some Fei forum locals. Anybody up for some fun games with a northern lad from England who’s in a giddy mood?
Yo Spartan I’ll see you online in half an hour or so!
I can understand there idea that Fei has an advantage but that’s only when he gets a KD against Guie and he can mix it up and make Guile lose his charge. But overall Guile wins this hands down. Guile can zone out Fei with booms and air grab Fei’s CW. In AE I see it changing in Fei’s favor with the damage nurf and less meter being gained from booms.
Phew. I just played a few hours with StarNab and a nice Chun I met tonight, and holy crap am I astounded.
He beat me 10-0 with Fei.
And it was 3-2 against his Ryu.
The Fei set was really close in most of the matches, often coming down to 20% life for both of us but no matter what I attempted he just trumped it and took the win. He was on like a 25-26 win streak before he switched to Ryu and I stole a game off him. 10-0! I thought playing against a top player, surely I’d be able to take at least one game, but no, he just pulled out really clutch reads and made me look like big fool.
It’s weird, because there are lots of players at his level, but I’ve never had the opportunity to properly play against any of them. I’m very happy with the result though, because apart from some daft mistakes, the games were very even on footsies and poking, but the knockdowns and mixups he was using were very simple, yet very effective, I got back dashed to ultra 1’d on 3 seperate occasions I think. Anyway, I think I needed this, because I was starting to think I was amazing (which is an easy mistake to make, because when you play me, that’s what you’re likely to think, hell, my name doesn’t even have any x’s or i’s in it), this has sort of humbled me a little, and I must keep improving, and I must keep seeking out stronger opponents.
GGs to StarNab for playing 40ish games with me and My Girl 89, the Chun. Very nice of him to do that.
@Spartan same happens here when I play my teammates. But one thing I learned is these top players play very differently when it’s a casual match. That said it does help my confidence and execution. When I told them to play me seriously like it’s a major they play so defensively and lame that it forced me to take risk and make mistakes and they punish EVERYTHING! Ask them to play you as if they would play at a major. That’s the best way to see how they can turn it on and off and it will raise your game as well.
Stupid jerk. Making me all jealous and shit.
lol, I expect big things at your next tourney Jason!
But yeah, the reads they make are just all next-level, so it’s hard to compete because they know what you’re doing much better that you know what they’re doing.
@spartan trust me I know. I can’t just use rekkas for pressure because if I space it wrong I get punished. If I don’t AA I get rush down pressure with frame traps that leave me scared to press a button. I hope I do well at CEO I’m training hard for it but thanks to you guys here I gained tons of exp and knowledge. So I thank you guys mostly. With AE things will change as we can use ex rekka to put pressure as it will be safe on block and that in it self can lead to some good mix up.
What I do hope to do at CEO if the venue has wifi is load the unstreamed to my YouTube upon there completion. Same goes for interviews and updated brackets. For the brackets go to Eventhubs.com there our sponsor and I will be passing along all the news to that site. I see CEO being a Yun orgy I need to learn that matchup like the first day AE drops. So Spartan next time you play any of those players ask them to “play it as a major” they will be like a brick wall, but brick walls do crack and then they will crumble if you chip away at it at the right spots.
I wish I had more opportunity to play top players and attend more tournies :’(
Anyway, for the last couple of days I’ve been doing HK Chicken Wings and then following with cl.HP xx LP Rekkas on the first frame (still plinking it to increase the chance of that even though it’s on block). I’ve been getting a lot of counter hits right there with people teching. If you can force them to stop DPing (by beating theirs with yours) it’s really good because it leaves them only a 1 frame windows to start a light attack or 2 frames to throw, but you can get good damage from it and shove them into the corner whilst their options aren’t as beneficial.
Just something I’ve found very useful recently that I thought I’d share, as well as punishing with cl.HP xx LK CW > throw/mixup of choice to keep them on their toes.
Well, it’s all back up, and after re-jigging my avatar it now officially sucks :’( I guess I’ll have to make another, but I did that one on a photoshop trial so now I’m a bit buggered.
Are all of the old input smilies gone now?
:qcf: :lp: :p:
heh, i had the same issue… i spent hrs on my avatar, but am happy with good old bruce
Wait, no, hang on… My avatar isn’t cropped now, yay! No need to faff about with it
For those of you that dont know as much as I love playing fei, I love customizing my TE even more, so while SRK was down I thought I’d get to work on my new stick layout, it’s 99% complete so I wanted to share it with you guys let me know what you all think!

if ya have any questions lemme know
That looks awesome!
How did you get all of the design onto the materials etc?
Thanks man I’m glad you like it!!! The paint on the case is a wht/wht pearl and doesn’t pop while under a flash, it looks even better in real life!
The plexi and the etching on the top plexi was done by Tek-innovations, and the plexi on the back was bought from them as well. The water color cherry blossom art was found on google and is simply placed under the clear bottom plexi.
Tek-innovations.com is the website you want to check out if youre interested in doing anything plexi, super nice work and very professional.
Woah, very sick. I just realized that light in place of the sun is a reflection lol. That would’ve been an awesome touch, but the stick is sweet nonetheless.
