Yea I think the charge ability they have given almost all moves is gonna be cool, I mean ex-fireball with no meter sounds pretty nice. Also whats up with the trailer… ken and ryu are getting there asses handed to them, and I wonder what is going on with the layer of skin thats broken when ryu and kazua trade punches… So many questions… but seein all the gameplay vids make this game look crazy awesome…
I’m just happy that they have stayed true to the 6 button layout. I remember reading about them wanting to add assits like in MvC glad that hasnt happened yet
SF X Tekken is beginning to look interesting though. I’m not sure about the visuals though, the stages and the characters have a very different look and all of the fire/fireball effects look really odd because I’m so used to seeing Ken’s DP the way it normally is. And I’m not sure I like the life bars
The tagging system seems interesting though. I didn’t like it so much in MvC because it was like you switched from one character to another, but both combo in the same way and you only need to learn them for a short amount of time because their combos aren’t really much different. It seems like you probably have to get a decent grasp on a character in SFxT, which might take my fancy a bit more; still, I think I would have preferred it without any tagging lol
From the 10 chars they’ve released so far it may turn out that they aren’t looking to have counter-parts from each game. I mean, Bob’s there, and that other massive dude who I thought was Sagat at first, but there’s no Rufus or Sagat announced for sure, same for Guile and that other bozz with the blonde flat top, so they may choose to just pick who would fit rather than who might have a matching SF/Tekken fighter. Still though, I’m hoping that they do, and that Fei/Law make it in, otherwise I’ll be crushed :’(

Welp I ran into this earlier today, and for any pad player I think it is worth checking out, and for those who are curious I would recommend looking at this too, b/c it is crazy awesome. It’s called a “Franken fightpad” and blends a d-pad with a 6 button arcade style layout, these things look pretty cool. Anywho, pad players check it out, who knows maybe you’ll get one!?!?!?!
Yeah Mike imma check it, this one looks promising, always been a fan of the the old ones. Mk is what actually got me into fighting games. Remember the first time i seen MK1 in the arcade as a kid and thought someone put kungfu movie characters into a game with Bruce Lee i was like wtf is this shit they got technology like this, these look like real ass people!!! lol. those were the days.
LMAO!! I thought my moms was the only one like that. Demonic this and that, god forbid if she read the instruction manul of MK 1 and seen it said Scorpion was a Spector return from hell, that game would have been crushed and buried with a bible somewhere. I remember her asking me about the blood code and i played dumb like i didn’t know something like that existed and one time after struggling getting through the mirror matches in MK1 knowing i was close to beating the game for the first time and Goro’s lair was the next stage, heard her footsteps coming down the hall i reset the game. Was not going to try to explain to her what the hell those yellow eyes in the background was and a skeleton hanging on the wall in a crucfix position was all about. lol remember tricking her into thinking Eternal Champions on the genesis was a football game cause i use play shit like that back in the day…until Barry Sanders retired… fuck football. Good ol days, laugh about that shit now.
all his combos carry to the corners where he rapes people. just like fei. he even has the bruce lee inspired rekka style 1-2-3 punch combos that push you across the screen
Since you keep in touch with Bosslogic, can please request a feilong tron-style wallpapaer. I know he worked on a few characters but fei wasn’t one of them.
