SSF4 AE talk, it’s all in japanese but Iused the translate button, it seems that Geif is considerably stronger then before… not good
Using Babel Fish, which is a million times better than google translate, Daigo seems to think that Fei, Yun and Yang will be the top 3 in AE. Akuma is still up there, and C.Viper may be strong as well since a lot of the other characters have been nerfed from top tier.
So how does Fei play in AE since it’s been out for a few hours?
I’ve already noticed 2 new Fei’s on my regular rounds, when there was about 2 of us in total…
Hopefully everyone will jump on the Yun/Yang bandwagon and let ours stroll off into the sunset.
With High Level Japanese players like Daigo and Mago praising Fei Long as a ‘top tier’ character, I think it’s only the beginning of Fei Long becoming a common / bandwagon character. I suppose it is a little childish, but I’m not looking forward it.
Sounds like Fei Long will no longer be our pride and joy. Once players hear that Fei is top tier for the AE those players will abandon there mains and jump on the Fei bandwagon. It started already with Mago’s success, now this will be the icing on the cake

Lol, well looks like I need to get Babel fish:wonder:. And I’m in agreement with most of everyone, him becoming a bandwagon char. is gonna suck. But I am glad that he has pretty much stayed with same, which is what happend to him in super. I can’t wait until we see these new links, I’m very excited to be a fei player right now!
quick we need to divert attention to yun and yang i kind of enjoy being one of less than 6 fei players in my country
I thought it was pretty bad during the last couple of months where people have been saying “Fei’s BS”, or “Can’t believe he’s getting buffs. OP.”

While taking Tier Lists only semi-seriously, I like the fact that he’s usually 5-5 against everyone (give or take). Meaning that whether or not you win depends on your skill and experience, not because you’re using the “better character.”
Now that he’s “better” in AE with the possibility of ppl bandwagoning, you’re right; it’s gonna suck if I see a million Fei players online. I already hate seeing a million Ryu players. I guess we’ll find out once the AE changes become downloadable (hopefully).

+the fact that we can barely get U1 out in a fight will probably turn off a lot of shoto players. yun’s ex zesshou -> U1 is more up their alley
To add, i think that ultra 2 will be beautiful against the twins. There dive kicks can be seen from a mile away unlike rufus.

yeah saw that shit, makes me angry everytime i see someone using a cr. meduim into special cept for Fei. Not only that imagin if he fadc into ultra 1 after the first two slashes. Its like he’s a Fei on steroids as far as options goes.
Fei:
Rekkas all unsafe, non FADCable, can’t cancel from crouching medium like rest of 34 cast.
Yang:
all this and some, lol dive kicks, comboable ultra, can absorb fireballs, hell if not mistaken can’t ex mantis slash go through fireballs or is it that roll into kick that goes under them or something and damage seems to be decent. too bad he doesn’t look like Bruce Lee…i’d drop Fei.
