Lol Dan’s my secret main :-p Avenger, I’m sure lag played a huge part as well. Even in our endless room I could feel a significant difference from fighting Higgs and then you. I know you got some skills.
Lol yea you had some great matches afterward. I think that one went up because team GG was pretty beast and we managed to take that one from them
But hey if you’re interested, there’s a ranbat on Sunday that I’ll be joining as well. It’s not a team format, but it’ll be fun too. I only got half-way through the brackets last time, I hope to do better this time. Sign-ups are below, just gotta register a nick on the forums.
A select few matches will be streamed. If you go into the stream they’ll give you live updates on who’s playing next and such through the chat box. Join if you can! You don’t have to be on deck for the whole night if you need to do something; I can send you a message when you’re called up.
mago apparently ploughed through everyone in the high rollers tourney , would be nice to see that . It’s pretty clear that Mago will win canada cup with ease .
JSMaster, Canada’s premier Balrog just beat Mago in a best of 5 match, 3-1. Mago also had some trouble putting pressure on a no-name (maybe he’s just a top Canada player) Bison previously. These fools saying Fei has the advantage in those match-ups just don’t know. Gotta be even at best.
VVV Gootecks took out Mago’s Fei with Balrog as well. Forced him to take out Sagat to win. Is it really a lack of knowledge by Mago? I dunno, but its tough to believe that he has no Rog experience. With Balrog being so popular in the US, and being consistently ranked as top tier by both US and Japan, he should have some idea to win that fight.
On a separate note, I just won my first local offline tournament and feelin pretty good about it  TBH though, there was only one good player there and the rest were pretty scrubby. On top of that, the monitors lagged worse than yellow-bar connection… :bluu:
All charge fighter give Fei a hardtime. Fei’s FA is neutralized by Bison sissor kicks presure. Rog’s lp will also give Fei fits. Starnab knows these matchups better as he faces more Rogs and Bison’s look what he did to PR Balrog. I guess many players in Japan don’t picked Rog or Bison.
Np man, I’m pretty busy myself so I might not be able to follow up on the ranbat either.
On another note, seems that Daigo beat Mago’s Fei using Guile and forced Mago to pull out Balrog in the grand finals. Mago switched back after losing and then lost with Fei again. Yikes!
Lol @ 40 viewers on the Guile forums XD The hype is back on Guile finally.
Everything’s a conspiracy lol. If they wanted to split it, Mago wouldn’t have even tried with Fei-Long just so he could keep his play tactics to himself. Daigo beating him earlier on was convincing enough that Daigo had practice against Fei. Mago could’ve stuck with Balrog and no one would’ve asked any questions. At the same time, Mago already proved that he isn’t hesitant to counter-pick when he needs to do so, through his choice of Sagat against JSMaster.
