Fei Long Q&A: Ask simple questions here!

There is so much useful information in this thread I wish I was able to add to it all, I feel like a fucking free loader. Alas, in roughly 7-8 months of play time I’m in no position to contribute squat, trust, except on getting pummeled, lol.

Thanks for the info you higher level fei’s post. Very cool of you all.

is negative edging chicken wing the best most reliable way to execute chicken wing consistently?

I don’t think so.

I don’t know how to be a bit more elaborate than that.

i’m having alotta trouble executing chicken wing. thats why i ask.

Nope. Just roll the stick to the top corner and press the button. Is it after a FADC or just in general?

So close to a “A” rank and I am at 36xxPP so I will reach 4K for sure and get my “A” rank something I thought I would never obtain to be honest. Hardwork pays off and my thumb is proof along with the 6 pads I have gone through since I started playing SF4 seriously.

just in general.

if you can perform Sagats tiger knee you can perform a CW. They both end at the same spot. Just keep at it, it only gets harder.

One of the tips given to my by mo former teacher was “be sure you can complete every combo in the trials. Once you do write down the combo go to training stage and perform it 100x in both directions to build that muscle memory and understanding of the timing” So keep at it you will get it

Sagats TK is SRK in SF4 your thinking of SSF2.

What happens when you try to do it? If you jump kick your pressing kick too late, of you stay on the ground your not finishing at up forward. Don’t know what else to say really.

I just roll the stick from block all the way round to up forward. :hcf::uf:

in other words they end at the same point to give him an idea on where to end the motion

No Jas, Sagats TK is :dp::hk: it’s a completely different motion. Sagats TK in SF2 was the same as CW, I think your getting mixed up because people commonly refer to SF2 TK motion for things like Cammy’s Cannon strike etc etc. Even then I think the TK started at down.

More than likely the dude’s never played SF2 if he’s struggling with inputs.

Damn I havent touch Sagat in a while I guess LOL.

That was when the king ruled! Now he’s just “ok”

Fei Long is the king he fights with his fists like a real man!

I took second with Fei at our local tourney. I reset the Final by beating the dudes Cody then he picks Yun of all characters!

I’ve not faced a decent Yun since original AE and had totally forgot all frame scenarios and had to just play it on the fly. I think Yun must be the only character that went from most popular to least used in 6 months. As it was best of 5 I changed to Sagat and beat him but he took the last match. Yun still trolling me to this day…

I never thought Yun outside of the east in the west theres was only very few Yuns like the few Fei’s and Yangs, the west only likes defensive character closest thing to a popular offensive character is Ryu lol.

Finally!!! Im done with rank So in 1 week I was able to gain 8,188 BP and 952 PP. I know I lost far more PP then I gained. Time to get a “A” rank on PSN now.

Why is it that top fei players such as Mago and Ryukichikun never finish their rekka chains with a fierce but a strong and sometimes a jab rekka in the corner?

According to the SRK Frame Data, Light and Medium Rekka-3 have 4 frames less of recovery than Heavy.

Sort of new to me. Since I always had assumed Rekka-3 is identical in every way between strengths, and never bothered to glance at Rekka-3’s numbers.

The more you know, huh.

What are feis go to anti airs and how come I don’t see many fei players using command grab that much? Thanks
