After throws(back or front) there is a spot where you can jump from with mp or mk which is really ambiguous(almost a guess) and if they (reversal)dp it whiff. Also if it hits/block you can combo or keep the pressure Unlike lk were it dosent give enough hit/block stun unless very deep so its a 50/50 situation after blocking it.
oh thanks, so it’s more a monitor than a TV. I am playing on a 37", LG LH5000, quite good in terms of input delay (around 20ms)

Also I didn’t put it in but if you do the exact same setup with j.mp, Ryu (and probably most other characters) can do a regular forward dash out of it. If they think it’s going to crossup some people backdash anyway so you might run into it.
Yea your absolutly right, its considered a monitor, but for some reason if im playing games on it i say its a TV lol, sorry if i mislead you. has hdmi, dvi, vga(comp input) input. 20ms delay vs 2ms is a huge difference. What type of input are you running into that monitor? There are ways to lower the delay by switching to differnet inputs. If you want to look around and do some reasearch, in the tech-talk forum there are several threads that deal with this stuff, so give them a look. If you have any other questions lemme know, glad to help!
To tell you the truth, I had a 5ms 19" monitor before, and I didn’t notice that much difference when switching to the TV. Or maybe i’m quick at adapting
By the way, the double plinking explained in your video helped me a lot. It feels much more natural for me to drum 3 fingers in a quick way, and i’m getting the clHP combo much consistently now. Until now I was trying it without plinking at all cause I wanted to get down the perfect timing, but that gets too stressful after a while. Thanks again!
Yea i’d say you are quick at adapting, are you testing these tv’s with GH?
And no problem man, glad that video was such a help to you, and aparently to a lot of players that were having a tough time getting that link. I think the biggest problem that video is gonna give me is a lot more fei’s being able to hit that link, mirrors are gonna be even more tough lol.
No I didn’t test it myself, I read many reviews of it before buying it. I just wanted a big TV to entertain myself and friends It turned out to be good enough for this game (better than most Samsungs, infact).
For your problem, don’t worry. To master Fei there’s need of much more than a stupid 1f link. There’s need of intelligence, passion, and the content of my signature, lol
Oh I know lol, but still makes fei mirror alittle more tedious. ( was kind of a joke )
Hey guys, I’ve been (re)watching a few of Mago’s matches, and have been noticing that at times when his opponent is cornered and knocked down, he’ll jump forward while standing quite close to them, but not actually cross over them. Do any of you know why/how this is occuring? I have not been able to recreate it in the Training Room.
Why yes, yes I do.
Ha, I completely overlooked that post. Sorry, and thank you.
whats fei longs most damaging combo that can done any where off of rekkas?
From rekkas? You can’t combo from rekkas, although I really wish we could FADC them to create MORE SHENANIGANS.
His sig say’s he mains Fei long, I’d think he was meaning in general, which he should probably know anyway?
Tiger engine ,what do you mean? You can stop after the second Rekka and put in a Tenshin or FADC a flame kick, but it’s not a combo, just a mix up.
wtf @ mago ditching fei long during canada cup
So opponent blocks Close MP, what is good follow up?
If I am close enough, I go for another as a frame trap. If I think I am too far, I go for a throw.
If I am feeling gutsy, I’ll wait til close MP is over and go for EX Tenshin.
You also have enough time to tick into a throw using cr.LK after st.MP’s animation is over.
Which characters does this combo work on? 36Z4_eK1fu8#t=35s]YouTube - SSF4: efllake [Uryo
It’s the ultra one, not the previous cl.strong into low jab link. I’m aware that one is universal.
Shienkyaku - Dash Cancel to Ultra 1 [3 Hit] works for all characters. You have to do the Ultra at the peak of the characters’ launch, just as they begin to decend, the timing slightly differs from one character to another.
If I remember correctly the 3 hit ultra doesn’t connect on Viper, and her only. It’s one of the females anyway. In fact no it is her, I remember because it’s an Ultra 2 matchup so I thought at the time that it doesn’t make any difference.
Well, that’s from trying to land it on her for like 20 minutes anyway and not getting it to work once; I may be wrong.
