To be honest , it’s debatable if we really need that, you can FADC CW for 3 hits and catch them with the Ultra after that (for minimal damage - but still…). I don’t use it, not many Fei’s do really.
Not to say it’s not of use. It’s just not common.

The smaller characters can only be juggled by CW x2. No Ultra follow-up would be possible from that, so it’s good to learn the 3x Ultra.
For sure, but there’s so many variables to Fei’s ultra (character specific) that I just do it on the fly. I suppose I should learn the list but I only use it with a focus crumple 90% of the time - so there’s not much need. You have bags of time after the 3 hit CW to land it. Not like the FADC in a pressure situation.
Yeah I can see if the CW hits 3 times or not and ultra or hold it. I’m just asking which characters you can 3 hit ultra after DP FADC because it was a really good/knowledgeable thing to do to close out the match. So does anyone know? I’m assuming it won’t work on characters such as Rog, Abel, Rose, or Bison because they fall kinda weird. I guess I’ll just have to play longer? Or can someone who has been playing Fei long enough tell me?
Yup

It’s on the first page of the link/combo thread. As a slight correction fei-long will juggle three times if you hit him in the corner properly with CW
I gave an answer at the top of this page to that. It works on pretty much everyone apart from Viper as far as my knowledge goes. Which would explain why there’s no list for the pure ultra juggle, because either no-one’s noticed, no-one bothered enough to report it has noticed it, or the people who have looked into it found that only 1 or 2 cast members weren’t 3 hit ultra jugglable, and so it wasn’t worth mentioning…
I think Ibuki is one special case. I’m not nearby my Xbox to try it, but if I remember correctly, she’s non-Ultra x3 like Viper BUT you can do CW x3> Ultra x2 on her.
Balrog is also a weird one. He’s one of few (maybe the only one) where you can get Ultra x1 as opposed to Ultra x2 or x3. Everyone else is at minimum x2. This makes timing for him much more difficult.
just curious how do u guys deal with the CW 50-50? online fei longs will spam that like no tomorrow i usually back dash but just wondering about other options
Back dashing usually is best, but if you’re tired of double-tapping backwards, try just crouch blocking and doing late crouch techs. If the other Fei has meter for FADC, you can at least sit there in an attempt to force him to burn it. Just be really careful to tech at the right moments.
Of course, you can also try 50-50’ing back  Do HK CW to try and catch him doing a throw on you, or do a late Flame Kick to beat any of his options. Definitely not recommended, but it does make him recognize the risk of that tactic–might force him to stop if he keeps calling heads and the coin keeps showing tails.
Oh my bad! There was some slight discussion and I missed the answer. That’s cool.
looking for rufus matchup specific information. can anyone point me to where i can find it?
Not that much you need really. Neutral jump HK is a winner for sure, spam that. U2 better than U1 if not only for mind games on his dive kicks. Try not to jump or you’ll eat combo into Ultra. Bait his wake EX and block. CW pretty safe from any distance.
This one’s not that hard once you learn it. Had a quick look for you but can’t see anything recent.
What the fuck do I do against Dud’s st.hp? It’s even worse than Bison’s st.hk. Everything that beats it gets punished if they delay the st.hp so its a guess in their favor.
cr.mk goes underneath it and beats it clean, also cr.hp will hit it after its already been put out, but will get beat if you’re trying to anticipate it. If you think it is coming then jump in (possible tenshin setups for our 400dmg combo), focus it to get a crumple (again for our 400+ dmg combo), or just block it, ocasionally you can CW through it but more often then not it will knock you out of it, also since HK CW is being changed i would advise against it. If they are spaming it you should be able to continually punish it with cr.mk. The normal st.hp can be punished as it is -4 on block (just watch the spacing), and you can whiff punish with cr.hp/rekka. The step straight (fwd.hp) is -2 on block, so no punish on that, but you can still whiff punish with the previously mentioned things. Blocking is your friend here (no chip), but like I said you should be able to continually punish the start/recovery of it wil cr.mk.
Funny , I ran into this once, no shit I think the guy hit me with at least 7 in 1 round. Completely caught me off guard as I’d never seen it used like that before.
Can anyone give me any tips on getting the timing right on some of Fei’s standard combos? I seriously can’t get a Rekka to hit after anything. I’ve been in training mode for like an hour trying to get it to work and I can’t. I’m doing a standing jab and then trying to hit with a weak Rekka but it never works, and I’ve noticed that even people who aren’t much better than me online are able to land some standard combos on me with Ryu/Ken/etc but I can’t land anything with Fei Long.
BTW I suck/new at SF but I’m learning and I’ve gotten a lot better.
is there a list somewhere that tells what ultra to use vs each character as fei?
thanks
Better off remembering the list that U2 is useful for as it’s pretty small. Primary’s you’d want Akuma, Rufus, Cammy, Viper, Blanka and Gouken
Secondary’s you could consider Ryu and Ken (cross up happy), Guy and maybe Chun Li or Fei Long.
If you’re having trouble landing combos with Fei Long, try first using Standing Jab To Low Jab To Rekkas. It’s a much much easier combo to first practice. The thing about going straight two standing jabs to rekka is that you cannot rapid fire the two jabs, but sort of delay the second jab input VERY VERY slightly and then go into Rekka. This is true for most of Fei Longs links to Rekka
ok thanks for the quick reply!
on another note:
i’m having trouble doing cr. jab xx lp rekka
whats the trick to doing it. i can do his bnb no problem
